I ordered this gadget to open/close my garage door without garage control just by using Galaxy LTE smart watch. It was relatively easy to connect the gadget to Dalton garage door motor. But, creation of Garage Door button and scene on my phone with Shelly Application and making it work on Galaxy Smart Watch 5 Pro LTE took some time. Most surprising that the created virtual button on the galaxy watch LTE works very far away from my home and phone. Overall: Great gadget. Read more

What a great, do it all device! It takes a wide variety of input voltages from AC 240v down to DC 12v. It speaks a baffling number of protocols (works with zigbee, matter, wifi, Bluetooth....) It is insanely well priced for the value you get in a tiny package! It even looks like they left debug pins open, but I *like* the firmware they put on it (that *never* happens with 90% of the Internet of stuff devices I get) Read more

These are really tiny which is good and while Matter based, they were not immediately recognized as compliant in HomeKit but did integrate. The rating of 16A seems way high given the size of the device wire holes and the ability to put a relay with large enough contacts. I needed 16A 240V so I packed 2ea in parralel and we will see how it workd out going forward. Read more

Easier than most products like this to set up. The Matter QR code worked flawlessly. The circuit took a bit of thinking thru on my part, but once I got that figured out, the product did exactly what it was supposed to do with next to no effort. Actual user here with a fair amount of experience with automation devices, and this one is the easiest set up I've had so far. Will definitely buy again. Read more

I’m a retired electrical engineer, so I am pretty capable with electronics. I have enjoyed the process of adding digital automation to my home. Most of my devices operate within the framework of the Samsung SmartThings network. I’ve never previously had any trouble integrating any smart device into my network. But this Shelly 1 smart relay device is terrible, in my experience. First I properly connected it to a regulated bench power supply operating at 12 volts with proper wiring. The device immediately drew high current and got warm. So, I changed to the 24 to 48 volt power option and correctly wired the same bench power supply operating at 27 volts. The device seemed to operate correctly, drawing only a small intermittent current that probably corresponded to the triggering of the WiFi, or Bluetooth, transmitter. However, I then wasted almost two hours attempting to get the device to connect with my network. Even the Shelly App could not find the device. I read through all of the Shelly 1 Knowledge Base, and attempted every recommended step, but without any success. I am returning the device to Amazon to order a different brand of smart relay.
