I purchased these socks as support for a pair of knee high boots that I am going to buy (nobody wants sweaty bare leg sitting in faux leather). I gotta say, these socks surpassed expectations. They fit well over my large calves and don't ride down much on my "fluffy" thighs, though that wasn't a concern of mine as I'll likely fold them down anyway. On top of that, they're comfortable! They're nice and cozy on my legs, but in a way that's light and breatheable. I normally hate wearing socks without shoes because I can't stand the sweaty feeling of my feet being suffocated, but I have been relaxing around the house wearing these just as leisure wear because they're so comfortable.
