Moderately good, and helpful for arthritic neck. I set massage force to lowest level, and heat to highest level--which is just barely warm. Way too rough for my lower back--even on lowest massage setting. This is an AC-powered device, with a DC adapter for the car. Don't waste money on any device that is USB or battery powered. This is so easy to use at home or at work! Even better, I can use it in my car! It came with two power source plugs, one for the car and one with a regular AC adapter for at home.
