I’m still on the fence about this heater. I try to follow the instructions but it feels like a crap shoot as to whether I get the heater set at the right temp or Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. I feel like I’m pushing buttons over and over. Maybe it’s me? Once it is set, it does produce a fair amount of heat and it’s very quiet. There was never any smell the first time or two that I used it. The directions say to unplug it when not in use so i do that. I just wish it was easier to get the settings to work properly. It heats well, but the thermostat function is too precise. So if you set it for 71 degrees F, it will trip on and off and on and off as it bounces around that temperature. It doesn't reach the desired temp, then stay off for 5 minutes or so, then trip back on, it constantly tries to maintain the desired temp. Which in theory is great, but if the heater is right next to you, or under the desk in my case, it just cycles through on and off, and it makes a click every time it does it. This process also flickers the lights. So it's pretty annoying. Seems to do a good job, but distracting if in close proximity. Read more

Very nice heater. Its lightweight and east to move around. Its low to the ground, its silent, and heats up quickly. Its functionality is outstanding and its very easy to use. It has a simple control panel that make setting the temperature quick and easy. I use it in a large living room and with the multiple heat settings allows me to increase or decrease the heat depending on the temperature outside . I love that it is virtually silent.
