These gloves are so awesome. These are the perfect work gloves. I love the balance of tactile feel and protection. The grip is good. They're perfectly thin and also thick enough to protect my hands. They last a really long time too, a pair can last me like 5 months. You might scoff at $40 for 12 pairs, but I am writing this review in 2025, and I bought the gloves in late 2022. Read more

These gloves are great. I used to by them 1 pair at a time from my plumbing supply house, but now I can get a great deal by buying in bulk. I usually wear an XL sized glove for working, but these fit me perfectly in Large. They have some stretch though. The material easily outlasts any other glove I've tried that is this lightweight and form fitting. They are very tough, great for working with tile, or brick. Plumbing, woodworking, anything where you need fine detail work with you fingers, where most gloves are too bulky, these ones are just like a second layer of skin. I can pick up all but the smallest flat parts off a smooth surface. I can still fit my hands in my pockets for find keys or make phone calls. These even work on my Nexus 7 tablet and my dad's Droid Razr touchscreens. After a while, the spaces between each finger will start to show some wear, like small holes and tears, but the main surfaces hold up for weeks on end. I wear these pretty much round the clock at work because I just feel like I'll get a splinter the instant I remove them. They are like safety glasses for your hands. A good pair isn't even noticeable after a while, but you miss them when they are gone. My only complaint is after sweating in these a few times they can really start to stink, but I don't see why they couldn't be washed, I just haven't tried it. They are cheap enough to toss after a few weeks. Read more

To me, these are almost the ultimate work glove. I've always tried to protect my hands - if one isn't distracted by dirt, grease, skin damage etc, it's easier to focus on the task - and over 3 decades I've used all types of gloves with varying degrees of satisfaction. I found the Atlas Nitrile a few years ago, and decided they were the ones for me. They do the basic job of protection while maintaining excellent 'feel' - with these gloves on I can still easily tie my bootlaces, do electrical work, pick up tiny items from a workbench, do carpentry work, metal work (not welding!), concrete work, mechanic work, and, importantly operate my touchscreen phone to take or make a call. They'll dry quickly while wearing them if I'm working with water lines etc, and give some warmth when it starts to get chilly. For real warmth in the cold I'll pull a pair of woollen gloves over them, or to add durability I'll pull on a pair of 2XL leather gloves (I buy the Atlas in XL). They don't protect when working with barbed wire, and welding spatter puts holes in them. They can get a bit hot when working in the summer sun, but any glove is. I keep a pair in every vehicle, and there is always a pair in my pocket when I go to work. To sum up - cheap, good all-round protection, surprisingly durable, excellent 'feel'. Value for money, for me they are the absolute best. Read more

I use nitrile work gloves for pretty much every DIY job, but primarily for auto repair and landscaping. I’ve tried probably a dozen brands, including 3M and other name brands, but I keep coming back to these. I don’t know what secret sauce they use in manufacturing these, but they quite literally last twice as long as any others. And that’s not an exaggeration. The nitrile coating takes a beating before tearing apart or coming off, the fabric holds together, and they don’t lose their elasticity. Save yourself the trial and error as I did. Just buy these at whatever the current price is; you’ll get maximum wear out of them and be glad you invested in a quality product. Read more

My favorite work glove, without a doubt. Have used them for years. This latest batch seems a trifle different -- they don't say "Atlas" on them -- but in other respects they're virtually identical to the older ones. All gloves are a compromise between protection and capability. These are MY kind of compromise: you can pick up a thin slippery little washer but still protect your fingers from sharp edges and nasty substances. Your fingers can still flex normally. And they're comfortable! Quibbles: even with XL size, I wish the fingers were longer, but the stretch is good. Also, I could wish the cuff was an inch or so longer to cover my wrist. But the price is right, and the gloves are generally terrific. I hope they never stop making them, because I'll never stop using them. One other note: for other purposes or different style of glove, I've found the Atlas line generally to be first-rate for quality, utility and durability. I was watching a documentary about professional salvage divers, and there was the guy working on a sunken ship -- wearing Atlas gloves! Read more

Ordered these 3 years ago. Used in garden and shop. I've put these through the ringer and they hold up well. The large size fits well, tight but not too tight. They breathe well and move well. Since buying these I've only thrown out one pair and have others spread around the house, garage, garden shed, shop, and truck. They're comfortable for any use. Easy to wash. Eventually, the first or index fingertips seams will wear out and expose a small hole. That's when they're repurposed from the garden and yard to wrenching duty. Picking up small parts is easy with only the very thinnest being difficult to grab. Every pair from big box stores gave up in months. These last years! Read more
