I tested them on plastic containers and wood, and they held up well without smudging. On paper, the ink flows smoothly and dries quickly, which is nice for school and office use. That said, the tips feel a bit softer than name-brand alternatives, which means they may fray faster with heavy use. The ink is plenty dark, but the saturation is not quite as rich as higher-end markers, especially if you’re used to using Sharpies. Also, the cap fit could be tighter—I noticed a couple markers starting to dry at the tip after being left capped for just a short while.
