I chose the 55" version, in white with the Oak top. It has a very inviting finish. The 55" is a nice choice as it gives plenty of space without being overly large. It's a perfect size really. I am replacing pieces of furniture in my apartment from dark brown/black with lighter, more modern pieces. This desk was the first piece and has started my "remodel" and order spree. The desk was super easy to assemble. Only 5 main pieces. Two sides, front and back cross member, and the top with hardware. Well worth the value and solid once assembled. Read more

The most important thing to know about this product is that the assembly took literally five minutes. This is single-handedly the easiest piece of Amazon furniture that I have ever had the pleasure of assembling. Literally six screws, five minutes. The dimensions are accurate and it worked perfectly for my needs. I use this as a nail table in my small two bedroom apartment. I like that it is wider than a traditional desk but not too wide that I can’t reach my clients from the other side. I also like how the legs & the frame are metal so I don’t have to worry about weight capacity or sturdiness. The build quality is top tier, it is very sturdy, and I appreciate the functionality and the open space underneath. I added a rolling shelf tote under one side and I have all of my cords in electrical on the other side attached to my nail supplies on the other side. i couldn’t be happier Read more

I absolutely love this desk. I use it for crafting purposes so I had some very specific requirements and this desk fulfill them all. The price is great. Is super sturdy but not extremely heavy at the same time. It took 15 minutes to put together. Everything was well packed. Is deep enough for my needs whereas most desks are barely 20 inch deep this one is 24. The height is also perfect for my needs, 28 in. I include a picture with the thickness of the top. It could easily hold a clasp lamp with no problems. There is a tiny gap between the top and the frame that at first found unusual but honestly doesn't bother at all. I actually think the gap it's big enough to hold one of those portable drawers or caddys in case they are needed wich is a plus. Highly recommended! Read more

I just got this desk today, so this isn't any kind of long-term review. Might update after a few months. Here's what I've gathered from my initial use: Pros: 1. Was very easy to assemble. It's just six screws, four metal pieces, the top piece, and the little "wire hole thingies" that go into the desk. Took me ten minutes to unpack and put together, and you don't even need a screwdriver because it comes with an allen wrench. 2. Looks nice. I got the 55inch in cherry. The top looks very pretty, and overall the desk is very nice to look at. 3. Plenty of space. Wanted a desk that was more than 19in deep like my last one so that I could keep my 27" monitor from being right up in my face. Also gives enough leg room that I can also put storage underneath. 4. I was worried about getting wires through the little hole, but that piece is actually three pieces that snap together and apart pretty easy. 5. Good height. My last desk was kind of short (and I'm only 5'3, so that says something). 6. Fairly sturdy, too. If you push on it the metal might make some slight squeaks, but it's not bad enough to be a bother I don't think. Cons: 1. Top seems like it might be prone to easily staining or scratching. I had a book with.. something (idk what, probably dirt) stuck to the bottom (it's a used college book) and the desk scratched when I moved it across it. Was kind of disappointing for it to scratch so soon. As for staining, my fingerprints are causing a small stain left behind whenever I touch the desk. But maybe that's normal, I have no idea. Either way, I'll be getting a large mouse pad to help deal with these issues. 2. Measurements seemingly wrong. The desk assembled fine, but one of the 6 screws I couldn't use because no matter how I moved the top, it wouldn't line up to be screwed in. It doesn't seem to impact anything, but I thought I should note this. So far, 4/5 Read more
