Definitely very warm, and the face part is very useful. It is easy to keep that face part down until you need it. the drawstrings can really make the hod into close seal around your face it if is really super cold, but usually I keep it loose. A hat fits easily underneath or you can wear it as. Also: very soft! I usually would rather wear something like this instead of a scarf, especially for things like shoveling or hiking when I don’t want loose ends flying about. A+. Read more

This is great - bought it in white. Looks good, warm and easily washable. The hood is large as it is meant to fit over a Helmut but I wear it without one while walking my dogs. You can tighten it w the cords around the chin/neck. This is well made and looks good.
