Very soft, comfortable fit. I'm a size 18 and 5'3" and it fits perfectly. The hem hits just below my knees since I'm short which might not be good for some but I like it. I also love the button-fly instead of a zipper. Perfect for a nice weather. Seems to be good quality jean shorts. Looks great on me and the button-fly kinda acts like a shaper too. I almost wore it to work today as its one of the warm days but I wanted to wear it with wedge heels but at the same time, its supposed to rain today. I'm very satisfied about these shorts and the folded hem makes it look casual but trendy. It also has some good stretch to it. I just love how comfortable it is. Read more

I selected the white button-fly Bermuda jean shorts in size 4, which was the recommended size and is currently the smallest size offered. At the time of ordering, they were listed at $32.99 (marked down from $49.99), and they are now available with a coupon for $25.49. I did not need to unbutton these to put them on—they are very stretchy. As shown in my photos, they run a bit loose on my skinny legs, especially compared to the more fitted look shown on the model. I would recommend sizing down if possible and ordering cautiously if you are typically a size 4 or smaller. For reference, I am 5’1”, about 113 lbs, with a 27.25” waist. The fabric is 71% cotton, so I plan to wash and dry them to see if they shrink slightly for a better fit. One thing to note is that darker undergarments were slightly visible under the white fabric, but skin-colored undergarments would likely not show. Overall, they feel like comfortable, stretchy jeans and look as described. At the sale price, I would give these five stars despite the fit running large. Read more

I ordered the Sidefeel Vintage Blue button fly jean shorts in my usual size (16) after checking the size chart, and they fit perfectly. I have about six pairs of Sidefeel shorts and jeans, and I've found the sizing to be consistent and true to size across the various designs. I wanted these jean shorts primarily because of the attractive button fly which is a nice departure from a zipper fly. Fastening and unfastening the buttons goes smoothly without any issues, and it only takes me a few seconds longer than using a zipper. These shorts are very comfortable due mainly to the fairly soft, stretchy denim fabric. I like the folded hem which adds an additional style element. The fold is held in place with stitches at the seams and at the front and back of each leg opening. The Vintage Blue color matches the images in the listing, and the quality of construction overall is very good. It's the button fly, however, that makes these shorts special and flattering. These are decent jean shorts. I did notice that they smell funny, even after being out of the package a few days. I'm hoping that the smell will go away with washing them. I ordered a medium, and I'm near the top of that size range right now, so they are a little more snug than I'd like. However, they are pretty stretchy, so they do still fit. I like the length, because I'm not 20 anymore...or anywhere close! I like that the bottom hem is rolled up. I also like the neutral/lighter color, and they will match a lot of shirts in my wardrobe. I never thought I would like this type of short called Bermuda, but I love them and need more! I always think jeans are going to be so uncomfortable with the button closure but these are not like that. They are a stretchy material but not too stretchy to where they don’t fit right. I got a size 14. They fit perfect in the waist and not too tight or baggy in the back. On the leg where the fold is it’s sewn together so it doesn’t come undone in the wash. The comfort level is there for me. The price point for the value for me is good and affordable. Read more
