Solid, well built crates! The color options are great so you can color coordinate boxes for specific items (red=medical,green=food). They “lock” in place when stacked and remained in place in my trunk even with some heavy bumps. You won’t be upset with these crates. Read more

The crate and lid fit is either poorly designed or poorly manufactured because the interference made the lids on the large crates useless. From research after purchase, this seems to be a well known issue. These are not complex parts to injection mold. It is the kind of quality I would expect from a company that offshores their manufacturing and unfortunately quality. I would be ok with these at a much much lower price point, but these are not worth the price they sit at. Thankfully I bought from Amazon and had a free return option. Read more

Great idea, bonehead design. Because of the design of these, the tall size are about a quarter inch too short to put the lid on with any common 1 gallon container. Half gallon bar oil? Doesn’t fit. Standard gear oil bottle? Doesn’t fit either. Gallon of antifreeze? Nope. I bought this to store a variety of different fluids and it’s exceptionally frustrating to realize they designed this thing with exactly the wrong dimension to fit 95% of containers. It’s a bizarre design choice because they fit perfectly in a standard milk crate which they endlessly compare themselves. Additionally, I can’t understand the logic in making a completely sealed container on bottom and sides but then having wide open holes for hand openings. With just a little bit more design thought, they could’ve made something nearly watertight but instead, water and dirt can easily get in the openings and then at the same time they decided they didn’t want to put any holes at the bottom for drainage. Rain and dust can get in very easily, but nothing can drain out. I’m not sure what set of circumstances that works for. Indoors only? Then what function do the flimsy and costly lids provide? You can stack the crates without them… no clue. Outdoors? Dumb choice to have open handholds. The dividers don’t seem like they were engineered by the same group who designed the sides of the crate itself. They used a tapered design so they don’t stay in place as you’re sliding them in so you have to frustratingly wiggle them back-and-forth to find the right location. It’s a guessing game every time. Sticking with my Rubbermaid totes, which are a third the price and way more functional. Read more
