This is our second time purchasing this mattress. For this price point, you can’t go wrong, For our preference, it is the perfect balance of firm/soft. We love that one of us can get out of bed without the other noticing (The mattress does not have a lot of movement). Both purchases we had no issues with delivery and setting it up. We just did not use it for the recommended amount of time. We are both side sleepers and have various physical ailments, but have found this mattress to be of great comfort for a great nights rest! Ok First: I've done extensive research on mattresses, what kind of mattress does better holding up, what to look for in a mattress and what mattress firmness does better for different people and how they sleep ect. Ect..... After paying for an over thousand dollar "hybrid" mattress in store, touching, feeling, testing and being reassured by a "professional mattress store owner" that hybrids are the new elite premium purchases of all mattresses and worth their extremely high price tag, I was at a loss, three months in with my king of all kings mattress and it's already large dips on both sides of the bed from myself and my husband alike, even though we're two very very different people in size, height and weight! Now my husband is a 6'2 160 lb man and I'm a 5'9 240 lb woman, that's a fairly large difference, yet we both caused dips in that mattress within the same time frame. So yeah I've got some trust issues 😂. Trust me sleep has been unbearable.... Second: I needed a mattress that I could buy that was affordable and that was going to do its job! So I began reviewing mattress after mattress, ones best for heavier set people and ones that were reliable. I looked both on and off of Amazon. There are countless ones just like this one that come up, ranging from a little cheaper than this too a little more, but the reviews for me on this one and of course that steal of a deal price tag. Can a sounds too good too be true, be real in this world? Yes. Now I've only had this mattress for coming up on 2 weeks but following the recommended two days set time before using, when I first laid on this bed....I knew instantly that top dollar, premium hybrid was an Elite lie! I'm talking instant comfort that I'd been denied the luxury of having, because of a top dollar investment I was stuck with. This mattress has already in the time spent on it, started to relieve my siatica nerve pain that the last ugly sinful bed had caused me to have. Back pain solved (mind you, I have no extensive issues with my back, only an out of alignment hip) instant grogginess and tiredness gone in the am, I'm able to get myself out of bed because I actually slept with optimal comfort and actually get deep rest.... Go figure, you really do need restful sleep too cure most simple things that ail you 😬.... Gone fatigue and achy tired muscles, gone pinched nerves, and feeling like I'm 8 years older then I really am! Now am I getting ahead of myself? Maybe! But honestly just the two weeks that I've gotten was actually worth what I paid for this mattress already 😂😃😂.. see that tells you just how bad my "premium hybrid" really was! Alas....I know that things could change in a month or maybe even less....So I solemnly vow to come back in a month and give an update and then also at the 6 month mark and give another update and then we'll see if we make it to the 1 year mark to see what we got going on then! That way you can feel better about making an actual decision, incase you got trust issues or mattress ptsd like me, or have a similar story and have searched ruthlessly hoping to find something that'll give you and your wallet piece of mind!! Just amazing quality....I will be buying more of these mattresses for my other rooms throughout the house! If you're looking for a slightly firm but still feels soft mattress then look no further! Buy it! If the firmness part scares you.... I'll tell you a lil advice my nana gave me lol .... You can be soften a bed but you can't harden a bed! For the money this seems to be a great mattress. I ordered 2 of these on the Black Friday sale. It pretty much takes 2 people to open it up and is quiet weighty. It's firm but comfortable. My husband likes a firm mattress and I like a little softer mattress ( because of issues with my rt hip...I need a softer mattress) and this one satiesfies both of us. We are both resting well on it and don't bother one another when getting up during the night. We neither one roll to the middle anymore. I wake up slightly sore but it attributed to having scoliosis and this mattress definitely has full body support with no sinking...so my body doesn't like being held in proper place. We are both waking up well rested and refreshed. We both have had serious neck and back issues so this is working great so far for us. I would prefer a little softer but its a personal preference and I'm adjusting...it's still soft enough that I sleep comfortably. Downside for us was that it isn't flipable because of zip liner and no cushioning on bottom side. We plan on rotating every couple of weeks and will see if it retains its shape and durability. We had been looking for a new bed for months. I, like many here, didn't want to pull the trigger on a mattress until I reviewed as many as possible. I read reviews and watched YouTube videos on Purple, Ghost, Lucid, Nectar, Tuft & Needle etc. My brain was hurting and my eyes were burning. I came across Chime and everything seemed good and the price is fantastic compared to the others. Day of delivery: I woke up as I always did with my old matress, hurting! Headache, eye, neck, back and leg pain. This has been a morning ritual for over a year. The UPS man knocked on my door and asked me to help him with the package. I said, of course bud. As we walked to his truck he says," I think it's a bed!?" I said," yes sir. Bed in a box the way of the future." He laughed. So the bed is slightly heavy and I'd recommend two players for this adventure. Unboxing: Its unboxes like any of the others. Carefully cut plastic and unroll bed. Then cut second set if plastic and watch the magic that is a 1" bed grow into a 12" mattress. Remember those grow a dinosaur by adding water pills as a kid? It's kinda like that without adding water. Firmness: I realize A LOT of people complain about how firm it is. Evidently I must have been sleeping on a broken hardwood floor for a mattress because this new mattress is amazing! I laid down on it after setting it up and didn't get up for two hours. I don't find it very firm at all. I'm 6'5" and 274lbs. So maybe that plays into it. This bed beyond comfortable. Overall: This was an excellent purchase for us. After our first night of sleep I woke up and didn't hurt. No joke. I'm sore but no actual pain like I've been used to for over a year. Its very well priced and showed up days early. How it will hold up over time is unknown but the now is amazing. Read more
