If you, like me, transport food often, then this will be the best $8 you've ever spent. I tried these out on just about every pot in my kitchen, baking dishes, slow cookers, saucepans, you name it. For all but the smallest, think 1-2 quart, you have to use both straps. Because of the design, the straps are extremely adjustable. You can even tuck in your serving utensils. Don't be discouraged if your button slips out the first few times you try it on a pot. You will quickly learn how to best connect the straps together and where the button will sit securely. If the button is on a corner, it can pop out. The straps are heat safe, though it is dangerous to attempt trussing up cookware hot off the oven. I mostly put the meal into a cool pan or slow cooker. The straps are easy to hand wash. I haven't tried them in a dishwasher. I stretched one strap 100x like an exercise band, just to see how it would hold up. That strap is now 1/2 longer than the other. It is otherwise unscathed. The silicon button has a really solid connection to the body of the strap. I was worried the button might quickly rip away, but after some prying, I'm satisfied that it will last as long as the rest of the strap. The strap is so wide, it really holds slippery glass or metal lids in place. It won't guarantee your liquid doesn't come out around the edges, but the lid isn't going to move. I literally turned pots upside down (empty pots) and the straps held the lid on. Super product. Well-designed. Easy to use with a little practice. Read more
I had no idea this was a product that existed, and now I don't know how I did potlucks without it. This silicone strap is stretchy to fit multiple pots, but also perfectly secure. It comes with the ability to use one or both together. I can use one small for my small "dip" size crock pot" and can add both together to securely hold my large crock pot lid on. Silicone does not transfer heat and doesn't melt, so it is perfect for this purpose and this feels like good quality silicone that I expect will last. At $6 this is a killer deal for the money. This is a great set of silicone latch straps that will fit virtually any cooker you have with a bit of ingenuity. I connected 2 together to use with my new oversized cooker that didn't come with anything to secure the lid while carrying. I had been making due with small bungee straps but this works so much better. I attend a lot of carry in functions, so these are a God-send for my small appliances that have no carry options. I was able to use on a smaller old timey slow cooker with good results as well. My only advice would be to be very careful when putting on and taking off as they fit very tightly to hold the lid in place, and you do not want a rebound effect, especially if the cooker is full of hot liquids. Be aware and use care, and you should be fine. Great set to have on hand, and at the current price of 7.99 I would say they are a good value and worth it! Read more

If you frequently travel with your cookware or just want extra peace of mind in the kitchen, this set of two lid latches is a total lifesaver. Incredible Stretch & Fit: I was impressed that I could stretch a single latch all the way around my Lodge enameled cast iron Dutch oven. It fits snugly and holds everything together perfectly. Once the strap is in place, the lid is completely secure. There is absolutely no risk of the lid falling off or sliding around while you're moving the pot. They are made of a durable, high-quality silicone that feels like it will last a long time. The "button" on one end makes it incredibly simple to secure the strap together and keep it locked in place. This is a simple, effective solution for anyone who needs to keep their lids in place. Whether you're heading to a potluck or just storing heavy pots, these latches work exactly as advertised Read more

Full disclosure, I am an Amazon Vine reviewer and so I requested these latex straps to review. That being said, I will always give an honest review and opinion. And if something changes, I will update my review. Pros: - Durable. - Easy to clean. - Practical. - Versital. Cons: - None so far. These are one of those things you never knew you needed until you have them. When my family gets together, there is going to be food. And we all bring food like it's a potluck! So traveling with containers is nothing new to us. We just always used large rubber bands to keep lids secure in casserole dishes and the like. But using these silicone straps is vastly better! Not only so they hold better bay a large margin, they will last much longer without a doubt! Read more

If you ever participate in potlucks or bring a meal to friends or family, you probably need these straps to keep your food in the pot. The silicone straps are made of a supple and stretchy material that grips the metal and glass of the several pots I've tried them on. The button is excellent for if the container doesn't have any knob or handles to attach to, as long as the base of the button is sitting firmly against a surface, the button is very stable and won't jostle to pop the strap off. The holes are stretchy enough to even use a sauté pan's handle, helper handle, and lid handle. I do not know how I lived without these, considering all the potlucks and meal trains I participate in. I will be using these at least once a week and will rebuy these if they every break, they are only $4 ea, after all. I cannot recommend these more highly!! Read more

The media could not be loaded. My Crock is round so the fit between 3 legs was a little awkward; had to do a diagonal in front of one handle then in back of the other. The lid stayed secure on the empty pot. The silicone seems durable and can withstand a hot lid. I appreciate the flexibility of use and could see using these to bundle hoses or 100ft extension cords. I stretched it pretty dang hard and it did not break. The reason I took off a ⭐ is I haven't tested on a full pot yet. Will update after a few uses. Read more
