These bands worked out well for my daughter. She has some hip issues and needs to strengthen specific muscles, and these gave her plenty of options. You get multiple resistance levels and sizes, so you can adjust based on the exercise or how strong you feel that day. The quality feels solid. No odd smells. The silicone grips keep them from sliding around, which helps a lot when you’re trying to keep proper form. The colors look the same as the photos. They offer a smooth stretch and consistent tension that makes each rep feel controlled. Good value for what you get and reliable for daily use. Read more
As someone who is currently working to increase their leg strength, I have found this resistance band set to be effective. They all balance the right level of stretchiness and with a nice range of resistance. I like the fact that they have a ridge on the edge, which keeps the bands from curling in on themselves and digging into your skin. I also found them to be appropriately sized for my body, but I suspect they would be too large to be comfortably used by a kid or small woman. Read more
Strong sturdy resistance bands. Don’t worry about breaking them. They don’t roll up your leg when working out. Adds that needed weight during exercise Read more
I ordered these bands to help recover from a calf injury - using them to pull my toe toward me and stretch my calf while working or lounging around. I thought I would need a very low resistance band to do this, but I'm glad I got this set with three different levels of resistance, because I actually needed the highest level! In any case, they work great for what I needed, and they are not expensive, so you can add them to your fitness collection for very little money. But in a twist of athletic fate, I started to use these things for all of my body-weight strength sessions, adding just enough resistance to squats and other exercises to push me even further. Very nice. Read more
Only 1 band is really strong meaning you can tell you have it on, the other two are pretty weak and I debated sending them back but I liked the one band so whet the heck. It wasn't worth the hassle of taking it to the store. I have other ones that are much better than these, so do your research and pay attention to the 3 and 2 stars because a lot of times people giving a 1 star just aren't happy with anything but look for yourself and determine if a product is worth buying. They also roll up on you and that I hate! Read more
This set of bands is perfect for travel. The set includes a light, medium and heavy band and comes with a guidebook that illustrates various band exercises. The bands are made from silicone. The bands do have a very faint odor to them, but only if you put it right up your nose. The design, where the outer edges are slightly wider than the center portion, helps keep the band in place during exercise. I also like that they’ve included embossed illustrations of various exercises on each band to give you visual clues if you forget any of the potential exercises. The bands have good tension and feel sturdy, like they will last a long time. Best of all, they are lightweight and easy to take along in your suitcase! Read more
Since my old resistance bands were no longer resisting, I needed some new ones. I saw these and liked the fact that they come in three different resistance levels, Light, Medium and Hard. I've tried them out. For now, I'm sticking mostly with the pink "light" resistance band. I can use the pink one as it is intended to be used according to the exercises on the workout guide. I can also do some of the workouts on the blue "medium" band. The green band is a monster. I can just barely pull that one once. I will work up to it eventually. I like these bands because they are wider than others I've used in the past and they don't roll when using them. They are certainly well made and will last for a very long time. To be sure, it will be a love/hate relationship, but they are exactly what I need, and I will be so much better off for using them. Considering the cost of exercise equipment these days, these are a bargain! Read more
Pink, blue, and green resistance bands offer three different challenge levels: light, medium, and heavy. At my present level of fitness, the light band (pink) feels just right for exercising my upper arms and medium (blue) works for leg exercises. After some period of working with those, I can aspire to moving upward in the level of challenge. Unlike hand weights, resistance bands are so small and light, they are super easy to pack for travel. As an added bonus, I can use these bands for class demonstrations in my college physics lectures. We can measure their mechanical properties by hanging a known weight and measuring extension for each one, and compare their elastic response. We can also use them as oscillators and measure the period of motion when the suspended weight is bouncing. This kind of demonstration with familiar household objects helps students appreciate the role of physics in our everyday lives. So these resistance bands will help improve my fitness and be useful in the classroom, too. Love them! Read more
