This mask has been passed around the family this winter with mixed opinions. One thing everyone agreed on was it was toasty during the cold winter nights. Has two setting high and low. The low is really nice where the high can definitely keep you warm. Its border line to hot but wasn’t. The only thing that bothered mom and the wife was the elements inside could be felt sitting on the eyes and wasn’t ideal for them. For me this didn’t bother me as much and slept just fine with it. My youn daughter felt it got to hot and was to lumpy. She was 8 so take that with a grain of salt lol. Over all personally I enjoyed the warmth and soothing feel with one caveat. I feel uneasy wearing a heating element and battery over my eyes in general. This is probably just me and don’t give it a thought at first. Personally if I were to get one I would like to have one everyone in the family could enjoy so finding a way to reduce the bulky device inside so as to not feeling of it in the eyes. Other than that it works well and seems to be of quality materials. Silky soft back and even the front woven part is very soft. Fits well with adjustable straps. I also appreciate the elements can be removed for easy cleaning if the mask cover as well as the fact the used a USB-C cable for charging. I loathe when anyone uses anything other than a USB-C, it tells me they cut corners and are using old stock to deplete older technology. I was impressed with this heated eye mask the second I opened the box! The packaging itself is beautiful quality with lovely details. The box has a cloth pull on the side opens the box like a drawer. I was greeted with "unleash your inner calm" on the opaque packaging. The front of the mask is a soft woven knit with a button that turns on the heated effect. The back of the mask is a soft satin with a padded satin area that goes over the nose and an adjustable head strap. It is very comfortable to wear! The temperature of the mask has 2 settings, high heat 122⁰F-140⁰F and low heat 100⁰F-120⁰F. The heat is extremely soothing, especially if you experience any eye pressure or headaches. From the packaging to the product, the quality amd attention to detail is flawless. It performs even better than anticipated. Would make a beautiful gift for anyone! It comes with a type c charging wire that plugs into underneath the button that turns it on. It stays on for 15 minutes at a time and can be used 4 times with a full charge. It would be five stars except for one thing. The button on the front of the mask, which you cant see while youre wearing it - so why have it? glows very brightly. So if youre in an airplane, have a partner, your dog sleeps next to you, etc., the light may bother them. You can tell whether its really hot or kinda hot by feeling it, the wearer cant see it anyway and it drains the battery. Otherwise, five stars and here's why: My ophthalmologist suggested a heated eye mask to use at night for my dry eyes (I was just dripping tears all day, it was so embarrassing). I also have insomnia and sleep with night lights. This blocks out light, gives you a tiny eye massage and has two heat settings. Not only are my dry eyes and dark eye circles much better (I also use Refresh Optive Lubricant Eye Drops OMega-3 with flaxseed oil which helps treat dry eyes) but this is a super comforting little friend when I wake up in the night and am trying to fall back asleep.
