This mask has a lot of snags in the silk cover. Very disappointing, thank goodness I didn’t plan on getting this as a gift for someone. There is no way to adjust the band size, it’s pretty big. It’s not as tight as I oiled like it to be, and my head is not small! This definitely wouldn’t work for someone with a medium to small size head. I do like that you can remove the cover to hand wash it, and it heats up well, but I like a snugger fit than what I can get with this. Read more

I like using eye mask and had an eye mask that you heat in the microwave. When I saw this product, I immediately wanted to try it since you can charge it up rather than place in the microwave. The product takes a little under 2 hours to completely charge. It comes with a usb cord (no base). The silk material feels nice on eyes as does the heat. The irony is the box warns against going to sleep wearing this mask (although it cuts off in 30 minutes), when all you want to do is drift off to sleep while wearing this mask. It gets hot, but not unbearably hot. This eye mask is perfect for travel, including air travel since you can charge it anywhere, even on the plane if necessary. This eye mask is quite nice, it's padded inside in such a way that it doesn't put direct pressure on the eyes, but blocks out light. It heats quickly and has low and high heat settings. The material feels more like polyester satin to me, but it's supposed to be silk, so I'm not sure about the material, but it's soft and silky feeling regardless. The cover can be removed and washed. It comes with a charging cable and a set of earplugs. It's really nice to have on days when my eyes feel fatigued, or when I have a migraine. Feels very soothing and relaxing. I have a lot of trouble with allergies, and I thought this mask would help with the sinus headaches. There are a lot of things to like about this mask: the 100% mulberry silk cover; the delicate and precise piping around the edges; instructions in actual English; and the invisible zipper for removing the heating element so the mask can be washed. The build quality is great, and even the elastic is covered in silk. The mask charges in about two hours, and flashes red while charging, then flashes blue when it is fully charged. There are two heat settings: I found the higher setting a bit too much, but in winter it might be better. The mask shuts off automatically after 30 minutes as a safety precaution. There are a few problems with this mask that I would like to see addressed: first, if you sleep on your right side, there is a hard bar at the very right of the heating element, and the pull for the invisible zipper is also on that side. Second, it is a bit awkward to remove and replace the heating element in order to wash the mask; it would have been better if the invisible zipper were a half inch longer, and the opening for the control were just a little more precise. And finally, there is no way to adjust the elastic as it too is covered in silk. In my experience with eye masks, eventually the elastic begins to stretch and needs tightening. I also wish it had a two-hour shutoff option. Overall, this is a good product, and I am happy that it's in my repertoire of sinus headache remedies. Read more
