I said I'd be back if it keeps working. The cable is perfect. Pick it up, plug it in and crank up the volume, including going through my headphones amp. I am convinced the problems I had were caused by faulty software, not hardware...unfortunately. Why unfortunately? Because I can replace hardware. I cannot write the software which puts me in the same spot I've been in for 6 months if it ever messes up again. Yes it is reversible. I wrote the below the day I received the cable and setup my audio but nothing worked. Today I ran the latest update on my iPad 12.9" Pro hooked it all up again and the cable is working perfectly, no matter which way it's plugged in. If it lasts more than an hour of playing games and listening to music I'll raise the rating again. 12.16.2025 @12:30 AM Only problem is that it does not allow me to hear music when using the TGiTK amp (https://a.co/d/5EAjWWP). It can handle data transfers, running multiple external screens, plug in Bluetooth accessories, and a Ethernet cable all at the same time. I have a device that I need to disconnect from the computer when I'm not using it. I wanted to have a short extension cable that could stay with the device but be readily accessible to plug in when needed. This particular cable at about 18 inches long turned out to be perfect. It's a little stiffer than I expected (it needs to bend to a U-shape for me) but I'd rather it be that then flimsy. I'm using it to pass a video signal, so it needs to be good, which it is. Read more
