I got this as I was having a problem with my dog and an actual sheep skin rug, they are washable but takes forever to dry. I thought I'd try this to see if I could swap it on her, but no she's not having it. I've had it down for a over a month and she only sits on it as she waits for me to get ready, after that she's off and moves to the real thing to lay on. Bear mat went between twin beds in my granddaughter's room. She loves it.! A little thin, but seems to be made well. Very expensive. UPDATE….. I bought this mat in 2018…..it has held up very well. However it now needs a deep cleaning. I was going to take it to a dry cleaners but knowing they were going to charge me $40 bucks changed my mind. I went back and read a lot of reviews. Seems it can be washed at home in the washer and dried some than lie flat…..going to do that this week. I will get back with an update. Fingers crossed all goes ok.🤞 Well…..I finally got around to washing mat…..on cold by it self. The mat was super bright and looked almost like new…..until, I took it all the way out of the washing machine. I noticed the backing was peeling off in places. Took outside dry flat over two lawn chairs. Mat is still useable, but most likely never to be washed in washer again without further damage. Wished I had washed by hand, but not sure how I could of rung it out by hand enough to get it outside to dry flat. Still looks great on floor. Just don’t look under it😬 Read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. This rug is so cute, love the shape. It did smell a little for about a day out of the package but all rugs do. Smell was gone in 24 hours. Lovely, soft, perfect size and shape for my walk in closet. Have returned two previous real sheepskins due to smell and unattractive shape. This one is great. And washable!!! Read more
