This monitor was my saving grace after trying three different monitors prior. My monitor weighs a lot and although it was in weight spec range for the three mounts I tried prior, none of them could hold it up. This does all of that and more. Big plus that it is from a trusted company like Silverstone, honestly that was a big deciding factory when I put the money down for this product. It is expensive, but it is quality and worth it. Buy this and just get it over with, you won't be disappointed. This is hands down the best monitor arm I have ever used. It can rotate in every direction and can extend out farther than I will ever need. It feels very freeing to be able to have so much control over where my monitor is and it makes every task feel personalized. You can have it up and tilted down for when you're slouching down watching youtube, you can push it back and straighten out the monitor for writing a paper, you can swivel it to the other side of the desk for when you need the space for something else. Also you can swivel your monitor portrait mode, which is really cool if you've never seen it in person before lol My friends always notice it and comment on it. It is incredibly high quality, you can feel it when you pick up each of the parts, its very heavy. It holds to the desk securely and I don't feel like it is going to fall over. Read more

I mounted my 21" 1080p panel on this to reduce the footprint on my rather small desk. To that end, it works brilliantly. The clamp holds really tight on the upper left corner of my desk and holds my monitor at eye level in the center. The construction is super solid and really easy to put together. Highly recommended for those with limited desk space. Read more

Great for Heavy Monitors. The settings in the back make it easy to set up for most (Practical) Monitors. I personally have it on a tempered glass desk with no issues. Alienware AW3418DW curved gaming monitor for scale. Read more

Solid and sturdy this arm is fantastic. The quality gleams for this product, and the keeps gives it the sturdiness however keeping it relatively light. I bought this arm after seeing Linus review it on Youtube [...]. If you debating which arm to go with there are tons, not all are made out of aluminum which was my main reason for purchasing. I must implore you to look into this one in particular; the build quality won me over, and I am extremely satisfied with it. Read more

After searching around for a while, I finally found this support arm that will allow me to fold and store my large (20") LCD monitor under the top of my roll-top desk! The desk doesn't have a very high clearance -- only 9" -- but the support post is just a bit over 8" tall and this is one of the few monitor arms that has a tilt mechanism that works without a hex wrench or any other tool so I can quickly and easily fold the monitor (facing up), lower the arm all the way down and roll closed the desk! Hooray! The tilt and lift mechanism both work very well even though my monitor is fairly heavy (24lbs). Installation was also made easier by the two part base that I could slip the upper part over the back of the desk (in the tight space where the roll top retracts behind the desk surface top) and then attach the lower, screw clamp part of the base onto the top with a couple of hefty screws. Purchased two arms to attach/position 28" 4k monitors to my desk. Combination of 4k monitors and precise placement resolved the problem of not being able to clearly see small print without further increasing font size and loosing some of the picture around the edges. Would recommend to a friend. Read more

Very nice and holds a heavy monitor well as advertised. One note: the clamp for the stand only opens 2" and when I got this I found it wouldn't open quite wide enough to clamp on my desk because of the metal frame that goes around the perimeter under the wood surface. However, a friend of mine was able to remove the lock washer on the bottom clamp screw (I'm the least handy person ever, possibly) flip the bottom L shaped piece of the clamp over (the piece is obvious if you decided to try this), reattach the washer, and tada! It fit! So, if you're handy and need more than 2" of clearance, it can be done. Be careful, though, because if you break the lock washer it's going to be a trip to the hardware store to get another.
