This thing is great! It makes positioning up, down, left, right, back and forward super easy once it's installed. I'm using it with the Samsung CRG9, and a word of caution if you were using the stand the monitor came with you will need the unused metal bracket that came with the monitor to convert it to a standard Vesa Pattern. This arm is heavy, and seems really sturdy. The gas spring is awesome because it means you can position the monitor and it just stays in that position without having to tighten and loosen something every time. That being said it does take a lot of effort to torque the gas spring adjustment pin to provide enough resistance for a monitor as heavy as the CRG9. And it's really best to have two people for the entire set up process to make things easier. Lastly you may have to mount the arm pretty far to one side is the desk, otherwise your screen won't be centered on your desk. There is a YouTube video from this company on how to install this product which may be easier to follow than the paper instructions for some. Unfortunately the YouTube video is hard to find unless you search the name of the company and the model number of this item on YouTube. I do wish they just linked it somewhere on Amazon. Or posted the whole video on Amazon. But seriously, this product is really really good. At one third the cost of the alternative, the "Ergotron", I feel very happy with my choice! Update two and a half years later: Still functioning flawlessly! So happy with my purchase! Update: 3 and a half years layer. Still not a single issue. This thing is a beast! Read more

With a horrible experience in the past from a different multi-monitor stand under my belt, I was a bit skeptical about this stand even holding my Asus ROG XG49WCR Ultrawide monitor. (49", curved, ~33lbs) Setup was a breeze and instructions were easy to follow. The Vesa mount bolted directly to my monitor, without needing the extensions that Asus provides. I had to "crank down" (counter clockwise) the arm tension screw for what seemed like an eternity. But once I was in the ballpark, the monitor was held without issue. The tilt and rotate part did not need extra tightening. I was able to make small adjustments with moderate pressure and it didn't want to sag or bounce around either. The cable holder can fit about 6 cables. Overall, very sturdy and highly recommend for anyone looking to mount an Ultrawide. The only downside is that it's a single arm, so the base will never be centered unless you hang the monitor straight out. Read more

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I couldn't find this information anywhere, so hopefully I can help you. Works perfectly supporting 49" Dual QHD Asus ROG XG49WCR. Cranking the tension arm 4-5 full rotations counterclockwise will give you a good headstart on weight support. Base/clamp is sturdy and wide, you do not need a metal reinforcement plate. Custom VESA adapter plate also NOT REQUIRED, it fits perfectly inside mounting area (see picture). Placement - Important to note you need at least 19" off-center clearance where you mount the arm in order to properly center the display at a reasonable height and distance away from you. This is because it's a single arm of motion, not a double arm of motion. So make sure that works for you. Ex: If you have an Ikea LAGKAPTEN / ALEX 55" top, this will not be able to center the monitor. You'll need more room away from the drawer unit. That setup only gives about 11" offset clearance for the clamp. If you have a smaller desk, you'll need a double arm motion mount, this may not work for your use case. Read more

The stand was overall great and pretty easy to setup. It took me about an hour to set it up and adjust it, partly because I was very scared to damage my Odyssey G9 monitor. It took a lot of tightening on the arm so that it wouldn’t just fall but once tightened all the way it works just fine. The tilt was a bit of a pain to adjust with this monitor because of how heavy and awkwardly shaped it is to hold it in place while tightening the screw on the back but I eventually got it by hugging the monitor in place from the front and tightening it in the back while hugging it up. It took a lot of tightening on this part, you’ll definitely need some force to hold it up. My only real gripe with this stand though is that the single part that the monitor and vesa mount all slides down onto the arm with, that piece is like the only piece of the stand that is just plastic. Maybe I’m missing something but wouldn’t you want the strongest metal to be used at the most critical part? I mean it’s holding it but dang couldn’t they use high quality metal like they did for the rest of the arm?? Read more

This is a great budget Monitor Stand, which is sturdy and holds my 49" Samsung Odyssey Ultrawide monitor without any issues. Great customer service, I bought the stand in Aug 2022 and it worked great for over 2 years and then the tilt hold functionality stopped working. When I got in touch with their customer service with my concern, they asked for some pictures as proof of the malfunction, once I sent those they sent a brand new stand for free. Highly recommend this Monitor Stand! Read more
