For size reference I purchased a large. I’m 5’6 195 lbs. I just had a baby so I wanted something to smooth me out and these did just that. They are very stretchy. The large fit nicely. If I wanted something to really suck me in a medium would have been good for that. They are so comfortable that at one point I forgot I was wearing it. They do not ride down and go up pretty high. Perfect for my needs. I wanted a lightweight shape wear that doesn't roll up and doesn't suffocate me. I typically don't wear shape wear as I'd rather let it all hang all than feel the way it makes me feel all night but sometimes I have that one dress where a little extra smoothing would make me look stunning. The band on the thigh is super soft and does not roll, it reminds me of my butter yoga pants.
