I just received the socks today and I usually wait a good deal of time before I post a review because reviews posted within the first days of buying something really doesn’t take into account any kind of longevity. But these are for gifts and not to friends, but to a charity organization. As such, I will have no idea if they’re going to fit the gentleman with size 13 feet or not. I hope they will, but I have some reservations . I have size 13 tonight. I compared the sock sizes [listed as USA size 13-15) next to my foot — without putting them on of course, due to my gifting them. As other reviewers noted, it looks as though one of the socks is smaller than the other pairs. In addition, the toe-to-heel length for all the pairs are smaller than the 13 size foot (2-or-3inches shorter). Maybe the socks will stretch to fit the recipient once they are put on — at least I hope they will. I am concerned though, because if they do stretch out two or 3 inches so they heal and toe actually fit the size 13 foot, I would guess this might stretch out the fabric making it thinner, less warm, and more prone to getting holes are coming apart at the seams. These are made in China by the way. I should’ve known better, and I have no excuse for not doing my usual due diligence, but for some reason, I wrongly assumed the “imported” reference on the Amazon page meant someplace like Ireland or Peru or other places that are well known for quality wool products. Shopping would be much more customer friendly if an accurate location was required in the manufacturer section of the product specifications — but until then I am back to doing the work myself of contacting the sellers and waiting and hoping that they reply as to the location of the manufacturing places. Other than all that, the socks look nice (i.e., the stitching and hem look uniform). They feel soft, yet not fuzzy. They really gave me five different colors for the mixed-colors option, which is as shown in the page image, so that is a good thing. They are nice earth tones. They are not as thick as typical below-freezing weather wool socks, which may not be a good thing for hunters and high-calf boot wears — but likely is a good thing for the casual and professional-business wearer. The reason for my three star rating is because of all of the above and the fact that these are gifts and I haven’t worn them myself — so my giving either a low rating or a high rating would be unfair and inaccurate on my part.
