I'm 5'6", 230 lbs, long waisted, short legged, straight-shaped waist (think rectangle) with michelin-man style fat rolls. Not "smooth round fat." Despite my size, I am still extremely active, a parent of a toddler, and am on the go. I like being stylish, but not at the cost of my comfort. I like functional style. I don't want to be pulling, tugging, adjusting my clothes throughout the day, and I don't want to be an uncomfortable temperature. My spouse and I attend MANY airshows in summers and these will be awesome at keeping the sun off my legs (still use sunblock as these are NOT UPF rated), without weighing me down, all while keeping me cool as well. These are officially becoming a major part of my closet. I specificially bought these to test for summers, and for a trip to Reno, Nevada in September. I prefer to only pack carry on, even if staying for more than a few days. I like to have versatile clothing that is lightweight layers for my carry on bag. I have shorter legs for my height, as I'm Asian. I live in Seattle (cool, humid, wet), so I needed pants that would give me good sun protection coverage, but not feel heavy, thick, tight, or hot in Nevada weather (hot, dry, desert). As soon as I tried them on, I was delighted! I get nervous for pleated front pants because they usually emphasize my stomach, but these fit wonderfully and the bow helps disguise it. I am usually a size 18/XL, but because my stomach shows a lot. Simce these are pleated fronts, I sized up knowing I might need to hem them 1-2 inches. These fit great in the waist, I have no doubt they'll be perfect for air travel, easy to pack, and perfect for the weather and cooler temp resort, and easily wear casually or dressy. Perfect for vacation! Usually plus sized clothing is thick and heavy, but I'm happily impressed with how lightweight all of the material is. The waistband is flatteringly wide, doesnt cut into the skin, stretchy, and the ties helped with keeping them from being too loose. For those with a larger stomach, I recommend sizing up to hide a protruding belly, but know your leg length and be prepared for it. If you do not have a larger stomach, order your normal size so they won't be too large in the waist. I am so happy with how flattering these are. It makes me want to buy more crop tops. The legs also have light stretch. These will make the airport travel super easy, be comfortable moving, stretching, bending, walking, sitting, and eating with no discomfort. One caveat, they have slant pockets. We all know slant pockets cannot hold anything, which is annoying, so I'd prefer if they zipped or snapped closed. Or, GIVE US REAL POCKETS. Not enough to take off any stars, because they tell you ahead of time it has slant pockets. Come on fashion world, we want pockets! If you're a plus sized person, needing versatile, lightweight, good for hot weather but cooler buildings, and comfortable style, I highly recommend these! Pros: They're lightweight, super comfy and best of all- they breath!!! I do not sweat or get hot in these. Love the material: Great quality. Feels and looks expensive. I worried it wouldn't be flattering with my wider hips and thighs. It hugs the hips just right and flows around and hides the thighs perfectly so it all flows and is very flattering. Definitely hits that "looks like a dress but they're dressy stylish pants" look. I immediately bought these in the black and tan after receiving these. Size: other reviews said it's slightly big. Agreed, kind of. If you're in between sizes, there's plenty of elastic and stretch in the waist to stay at the smaller size. I'm between a large and extra large and bought the large and they fit perfectly. So sizing down is an option if you're closer to the smaller part of your size imo. Packaged fine. Arrived on time. I'm a bit torn about this skirt. For context, I wear women's 22US. Pros: It's a flowy crepe-like polyester in a beautiful rust/terracotta color that doesnt highlight any bumps. It's light and keeps you cool in the heat. It has a comfortable wide stretchy elastic waistband and has extra long decorative ties of the same material at the front. The length (unwashed) falls just above the ankle (I'm 5'7"). The thigh slits are just above the knee and the overlapping cut of the design give a nice peekaboo effect when you walk. It also looks great dressed up with a fitted top or casually worn over a suimsuit. Cons: it doesnt drape too well if you have a rounder belly or don't have much hip definition. The ties dont pull or tighten anything so I'm unable to get much waist definition or add a belt (I'm considering altering it slightly to add a drawstring). It bunches up strangely around the crotch area and if you also have thick thighs it also tends to ride up when you walk alot in it. Based on other reviews i can confirm this is definitely a cold wash and line dry only kinda skirt. Overall, I'm keeping it for now as a pool or beach coverup. I'll add it to my summer outfit rotation once i can add a belt/drawstring. Read more

This is my third pair of these pants. The red striped ones are my favorite. They’re the lightest weight which works really well for travel. I just got the white ones with stripes and they’re super comfortable and come with built in “shorts” to prevent being see-thru which I appreciate so much because most white pants are see through. I’m 5’3 and these are just a tad long to wear with flat sandals without dragging or getting dirty, I plan to take them on vacation where I’ll be walking a lot, so I’m going to wash them to try to shrink them just a little for the perfect length. I love these pants for traveling to hot places because they’re light, comfortable and the slits make them breathable. they look very classy and can be dressed up or casual. I realized they do shrink a lot after washing, regardless of water temp or drying. But if you use a steamer, all you have to do is stretch them while steaming and they’ll go back to normal length or close to. It almost makes them “adjustable” if needed. Read more

Pants are used for a swimsuit cover up. I really wanted to wear these on our cruise for a nice dinner but after trying them on and having them kinda of shear, I opted to use for a cover up instead. They’re cute and long, but run kind of small. The material feels thick, but once you have it on, you can see through it. Read more
