This dress is beautiful. It's a quality, well-made dress that looks more expensive than it actually is - always a nice bonus! The material is thicker/heavier than expected with beautiful ribbing. The waistline pulls everything in and is very flattering. Actually, this dress fit me perfectly, which is usually a struggle for me without making alterations. (I am 5'2" and roughly 140, and bought a size S.) The hem fell mid-shin which was perfect for pairing with black heels. This was worn for a holiday party and I got many compliments. Love this very comfortable and elegant dress, purchased medium and I am 5'2" and 138lbs. Length is just at the top of my foot, and was perfect with flats. I am a 34D bust and it fit perfectly, with the V showing covering just enough. The elastic in the back was very comfortable, no need for shapewear. I wore the dress to a fall wedding and it was perfect. I suggest a shawl or jacket to go over the dress for warmth. The color is teal green and the burnout velvet is rust, vivid and lovely for fall. I bought this to wear for Christmas, maternity photos, and my baby shower. It’s perfect for all 3 and will be great after pregnancy too. The color and style are as pictured, sizing is true to size and it has some stretch to it which makes it super comfortable. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the velvet nap is upside down so when you run your hand downwards it’s on the rough side and upwards is the soft side (although my friend who knows clothing construction said that’s because the color is more vibrant that way. I ordered the burgundy dress, oh my goodness it is luxurious, royal color and breathtaking. Fits true to size. Love the length. The fabric is a medium weight great for Fall/Winter. Paired it with bold gold accessories and shoes. It fit the occasion beautifully and I received so many compliments. Just got this delivered today. I'm 168lbs, 5'5, and fit in between a M and L. The medium fits perfectly! The dress is so soft, and it's very flowy, goes just to my ankles. Can't recommend it enough!! This dress is beautiful! The champagne color is as expected and the ribbing is almost shimmery. The material is not too thin, not too heavy. It’s soft, flowy, and so comfy it almost feels like a cozy robe but it looks elegant. I would definitely buy more colors. Read more
I absolutely love this dress and I came back on to order some more in different colors! Was the perfect length for me and I am 5'4". It was a little bit loose in the back under my neck and in the front. I am a 34C so if you are a little bit more busty it should be fine. If not maybe go down a size. My hips are a little bit wider than average and I thought it fit very nicely in that area. Not too snug and very nice and flowy. Read more
