My husband says I should be a spokesperson for this thing because I can't stop raving about it. Truly one of my favorite purchases ever. I love it so much that after I bought one a few years ago for an old apartment, I've bought several more for myself and other family members after we moved two more times. It is truly life changing. The first wonderful thing about it is that it works even with high ceilings. Two of the places I've lived in had high ceilings and this worked perfectly in them. The suspension is strong and secure. None of them ever budged from their positions. They never rusted, either. Still shiny and good as new, even after years of use. And there's so much space to put all your stuff! Three good sized shelves, a special hook for your razor, a couple hooks for loofahs, a special area for your bar of soap, and even two rods where I can hang the flat loofah I use and rubber bands from my hair! It allows you to be super organized and makes the shower look great at the same time. Shelves are adjustable to fit your height preference. I can just go on and on about all the things I love about this magical contraption. Gone are the days of trying to balance your shampoo bottles on your shower ledge or bend over to get them off the floor. You don't need to be depressed or frustrated with your state of affairs as you start your morning every day anymore. This will change your life. It's awesome. It's amazing. Pricey but is worth the extra cost! **We love it and would recommend it highly~ Pros: > Fast Amazon delivery > 5 yr. product warranty > Assembling was easy and instructions clear > Non-rusting > 3 height bar extensions to accommodate taller ceilings or special placement configurations > Has large rubber grips at the top and bottom of the caddy bar > Strong internal spring holds the caddy firmly in place > All 3 shelves can be adjusted up or down (or removed if necessary) at any time > Shelves are sturdy and wide enough to hold multiple bottles > It is a lovely design and looks really nice in the shower/bathtub > There is also a stainless steel double bar for wash cloths Cons: > None Some Basic Assembly Tips: 1. The shelves are design to fit snugly. When you insert each shelf onto the bar, work it on by gently pushing one side then the other. It will soon glide easily. No oil or WD is needed (and I would not recommend using either). 2. I waited to lock my shelves in place once I had the bar up and in position. I found I needed to move the shelves a bit more. 3. There is a directional arrow sticker on the bar that points to the top of the bar. The shelves must be inserted onto the bar starting at the bottom working upward in the direction of the arrow. 4. The locking clips are taped to the shelves for delivery. I suggest you remove the packing tape from each locking clip. It can become bunched up behind the clips while inserting the shelves onto the bar. 5. The shelf clips lock by pushing downward. They can only be inserted onto the bar in this direction. As others have said, this shower caddy is expensive but worth the money. I've always avoided tension spring caddies because they typically feel flimsy and look cheap. The flimsiness was what always bothered me the most when I encountered them in other peoples' houses, as I would always eye the caddies suspiciously as I showered waiting for the mountain of bath products to topple on me (and had it happen a couple of times). This product is, I can confidently say, different. After seeing this one installed at a friend's house, I was impressed enough to shell out what seemed like a really high price because the extra effort in engineering shows: + The aluminum frame is lightweight, with a nice matte finish that doesn't show water spots easily, and should help prevent corrosion. + The shape of the pole (it's not just a round cylinder, but is wider along the horizontal axis) minimizes flex and makes it feel much more sturdy. + Tension spring is just the right strength: easy to install, but feels secure + The method of mounting and adjusting the shelves is easier and smoother than the usual gaskets around the pole method. The shelves also end up feeling much more secure. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase. It looks as good as a tension bar shower caddy can be expected to look, it was terrifically easy to install, and most importantly it feels secure and strong enough that we don't worry about bumping it or throwing full large bottles of shampoo or other bath gear onto it.
