Bought this for my son’s bedroom. The desk looks great, feels very sturdy and well made. Was easy to put together, all was neede was attached the legs. Very impressed with the packaging, it was well protected and the highlight was that all the hardware was packaged separately and labeled so that it’s clear what goes where. I don't particularly like buying furniture that has to be assembled but this desk was so simple, I have nothing to complain about.. And took less than 15 minutes to put together. This is a pretty nice looking desk for the cost. Unfortunately a large chip 2x2 inches was knocked off the middle drawer pull. Do to personal situation I decided to keep it and try to fix it instead of taking it apart and trying to ship it back . So that part is on me but still disappointed. Update a year later, the desk is a bit short with the keyboard tray out. I’m 5ft 3 and it hits my knees sometimes. Overall a nice desk for the money . I purchased this desk partial based on the reviews of other similar desks and it's small footprint. It fits perfect in a 47" alcove in my apartment. It w took less than 10 minutes to assemble. It is solid wood and very sturdy. The finish is what I expected and I'm pleasantly surprised at the visible wood grain. The only down side is the low clearance, where I am not able to place my legs under the desk. Otherwise I am totally satisfied with the desk. Read more

My first review on Amazon. Buyer beware. The reviewers are correct. The desk is way too short. I'm 5'4" and its difficult sitting comfortably. I tried using the shortest chair that we have, and it's still not easy sitting down and getting up/out of the chair. Knees hit the drawer, can't cross your legs, can't lift your legs at all, etc. I've never had this kind of issue with a desk. It needs more height. It's terrible. However, the table is pretty good quality, not too heavy, nice wood, beautiful color (if you like dark color), very easy to assemble, and extremely well packaged. I think they must have spent a lot of the cost on the packaging. Only if the company would have used that kind of attention and investment into the height of the desk. For the price, the table is quite nice. But please DO NOT buy unless its for a child. I'm serious. I can't stress enough, it is very short, don't assume it will be OK, that somehow you can make it work (which is what I did, even after reading the reviews about the height). I was looking for a small wood writing desk for my all-in-one PC to sit on and this one seemed to fit the bill.
