I got this 2 in 1 magnetic phone holder mainly for hands-free driving, and it’s been super convenient. It snaps right onto my iPhone I have a MagSafe case, and the magnet is surprisingly strong my phone stays in place even when I hit bumps or take sharp turns. What I really like is that it doubles as both an air vent mount and a stand. I can leave it in the car or bring it inside and use it on my desk to watch videos or FaceTime. The 360° rotation makes it easy to switch between portrait and landscape, and the hook design helps keep the mount extra secure on the vent. If you use a MagSafe compatible iPhone like the 12 through 16, this little gadget is worth it. Just make sure you have a MagSafe case or bare phone for the best grip. Read more

This is a basic, no frills phone mount for MagSafe phones. I did not try the little sticker based arm mount and just stuck to the air vent mount. That mount has a little mental hook arm that extends and retracts with turns of the shaft of the mount. It hooks onto the back of the vent fin and locks in as you retract it. It overall is pretty solid of a mechanical hold. The one con to the air vent mount approach is that the nut that you turn to tighten the arm down is a traditional nut, meaning you have to be careful as you tighten it to make it snug but not overturn it and damage anything. I have a similar air vent mount from another brand that uses a similar mechanism, but the nut has an integrated torque feature that clicks when you get tight enough but stops tightening. Granted this mount is a lot more of a bargain. The magnet on the circle base of the mount is very strong and quickly grabs and latches onto a MagSafe phone and holds on pretty stably. The only drawback is that on a larger phone (like the S25 Ultra), you may experience some minor spin as the phone gets put under basic centrifugal and gravity forces, since there are no stabilizing bracket arms like on some similar mounts. My friends regular sized iPhone did not experience any spin and was held tight. If you do not have a MagSafe phone or case, the kit comes with a magnet ring that can be applied with a sticker to your case or phone. I did not test this, but when I put the ring near the mount, it latched on and was really difficult to pull off. As long as the sticker is applied securely to your phone or case, I suspect it will hold well. This phone holder was simple to put together. It is very light but seems very sturdy. Installation was simple on my vent and was very stable. My phone is held very well and has not fallen off, even after hitting some big pot holes. An excellent value for the price. Read more

I've tried multiple models like this, both magnetic and non-magnetic and I think this one is tops. It's super sturdy, holds the phone securely, and is really adjustable for a perfect angle to view when driving. I really like that it works in landscape mode as well as portrait orientation. After upgrading to an iPhone 16 Pro I wanted to take advantage of the MagSafe feature and this mount was perfect for the car. The magnet is super strong yet easy enough to remove. I have a Ram 1500 and it fits the vent really well. In fairness, I didn't try the sticky mount since the vent mount works so well. Read more

The arm attachment is way too flimsy to work well. It bounces around back and forth with the phone on it and is very annoying. If you don't mind looking at your phone as if it is attached to a spring, this is the mount for you. If the attachment was made better, it would be a good product, but I'd avoid this one. In my state they just passed "hands free" driving cell phone laws. This has a J hook that attaches to your car vent or a suction cup attachment, so you can choose whichever set up you prefer. It includes a magnetic ring which holds your phone. The phone holder is adjustable 360 degrees so you can situate it to whatever suits you while driving. I had trouble with it falling out of the vent. The J hook does not hook well on the inside of the vent. I was eventually able to get it to stay but it lead to frustration during the original set up. It was a bit of a struggle to install. It is easy to remove, you just twist it and it will release the J hook. It serves its purpose, just frustrating until you find that sweet spot. Read more
