My 4 year old uses this blanket every night, and most nap times. Give a "snuggle" with enough weight for his body - and is light enough that he can still reposition it when necessary. Not too hot or too cold. Great for his Goldilocks style sleeping. Have washed it a bunch of times and it maintains it's quality. I got this for my 6 year old son who has a hard time winding down at night and going to sleep. I will say that it is effective, and when he does have it on him, he calms down and falls asleep much faster! I got the 7 lb one for him, just because we wanted the bigger size, even though based on the recommendations he should need a 5 lb one (he's 49 lbs). However, the 7 lb works great for him, it doesn't seem to be too heavy or anything. I specifically gave this one a try after combing through endless options and reviews because a lot of folks said it was a bit cooler than some. My kiddo runs way hot at night so this was my biggest concern. He does still get hot under it, and I worry that come summer it will be a problem, but it's probably still one of the cooler options.
