Best shoes I've ever owned. I crushed my right foot as a teenager and since the foot rebuild, my shoes, regardless of cost and quality, last about six-eight months, max. I could easily have a closet full of perfectly good left shoes, but my bad right foot always crushes them over to the outside in short order. So I took a chance on these Sketchers Afterburn's. I wear these shoes far more than any other shoe I have (love the slip-in being an old man now) and for the record, I purchased these shoes on Amazon July 2024, and can STILL wear them comfortably. My right shoe is still standing tall and straight. Dang near miraculous. This is the ONLY right shoe that hasn't died in less than a year. I have no idea why "durability" is one of the complaints but I'm definitely reordering. Thank you Sketchers. I could have used you 40 years ago. Read more
The shoes fit fine. I like my shoe laces 'TIGHT'. They slip on my heels when walking. Maybe a personal preference but can't find a way to snug them up to fit tight. I like the color and the insoles are comfortable. They are easy to get on/off. They work for what I needed. Read more

These are the third pair I've purchased from Skechers and will continue to do so. After about a week of break in period, they fit well and have had no issues. The stock innersole is removable with some force so I could throw in my arch supports (the famous Dr. brand). I wore the last pair of them for about two and a half years so I know the durability is there. At this point, I can honestly say it's the only brand of shoes I'll buy, just wait for the sale price. I wore these the first time yesterday and took a 2 mile 40 minute walk around the lake. Normally, a new shoe goes me a few abrasions on my hammer toes. These shoes did not. They were so comfortable I didn't want to take them off. And after I took them off for a bit, when I purchased them back on they were still incredibly comfy. So often with other shoes that has not been the case. Read more
