1st go at the Skechers "Slip-In" Sneakers. Web search put them & Kizik as the top slip-in sneakers. Independent reviews put both brands pretty even. Personally of the (2) the SKECHERS is a better overall shoe for the price. Wicked comfortable, and surprisingly STURDY compared to the Kizik. The Kizik are comfortable, but when walking with some force (uphill/uneven terrain) the Kizik have no lateral support - almost like a slipper. The Skechers - rock solid. Also the Skechers have a little bit of "tread" underneath - so somewhat slip resistant. Im not going to go walking in the rain to find out, but comfortable wont slip if encounter a puddle or wet sidewalk. I got these to wear as workout shoes. So far they are slippers comfortable, light weight, have good breathability, and give me the support I want for some not too serious stationary bike workouts. Easy on and off and fit true to my regular size shoes. I may be getting some more of these to wear outside too. They feel like they would be pretty comfortable for long days on your feet. Read more

My husband has Parkinson's disease so we are always on the lookout for things that are easy to use. Another participant in his exercise group has Skechers so we wanted to try them. The first time he put them on he loved them. I like him to put on clean shoes when he is home to help keep the carpet cleaner so being able to easily change shoes is great. For some reason this model was cheaper than others in the same brand so since we were trying out the "built in shoe horn" we chose this model. They slip on and off easily, are very comfortable, appear to be good quality, and the style is ok. We will be buying more Skechers in the future. Read more
