These shoes are comfortable and easy to put on and take off. For the last two or three decades,sneakers and even some shoes have been designed with high sides around your ankle with the top edge having a cut out for the knobs on either side of your ankle. I really, really hated this because it would press into the bottom of the knobs. This would hurt as it was pressing into the veins there and it would rub the skin off. So for years I have avoided wearing shoes and only wore good flip flops with cloth straps and between the toes. Also I would wear pull on boots in the winter. Now with the Sketchers, the edge is low enough with it fits comfortably with out it being low like the sneakers from the 1960's and it doesn't cause any pain. They are easy to slip on and easy to slip off. If you get Sketchers which need to be laced up like this pair, then just be careful not to lace them up tight as you will find it difficult to slip them on or off. I absolutely love Skechers, they make the most comfortable shoes on the market I love the color of these and the comfort is unmatched, especially when I need to spend an entire day walking around in an airport for example. These are the first Skechers I've owned with the 'slip-on' feature. Essentially the back lip is stiffened and shaped in a way that makes it extremely easy to simply slip these on on the ground without picking them up, and it WORKS! I have had three pairs of these shoes. The photo shows laces that are not ones you tie but what I received have laces you have to tie. The shoe is super comfortable and I wear them while working. Its not uncommon for me to walk 20 miles in a day while working and these shoes keep my feet feeling fine. If the laces were as pictured I would give 5 stars. Read more
Love the convenience of the step-in shoe. Takes a little getting used to because of the bump they use in the back to secure your foot. But it's not uncomfortable at all. The shoe itself is very comfortable and is true to size. Caught this on sale so it was a great value as well. Recommend! Read more
I received these, and they fit fine and are very comfortable. The label does say slip-ins, but the shoe strings have to be tied. These aren't like my other two pairs of Sketchers slip-ins I have purchased, where you don't have to tie the shoe strings. I've had both hips replaced and bending over to tie my shoes is not always easy. I am keeping them, the price is good, and I really like the Skechers brand and they are very comfortable. Read more

Have purchased many pairs of Skechers in the past and found the Extra Wide width a great fit for me and to be comfortable. No width is listed in the Amazon sales description, so I went to the Skechers website and saw that only one width is sold - Extra Wide. I convinced myself that those for sale on Amazon must all be Extra Wide and ordered. Upon arrival, I quickly noticed that unlike my prior pairs of Skechers the box did not state Extra Wide, there was no Extra Wide tag on the shoes, and, most importantly, my toes felt cramped. I immediately prepared the shoes for return and contacted Skechers via Chat to question why some extra wide shoes are narrower than others. The customer service agent stated that the widths listed on the Skechers site are accurate. She went on to tell me that some models are manufactured specifically for Amazon or other retailers, so she could not speak to the width. I ordered the same shoe from Skechers. When they arrived, the box was labeled Extra Wide, the shoes had an Extra Wide tag, and they fit perfectly! Read more
