Skechers Womens Go Run Consistent - Leather Cross-Training Tennis Shoe Sneaker with Air Cooled Foam

All I can say is WOW!!! I have been a Nike Air Monarch IV die-hard fan for more years than I can remember. I still have two pair in boxes that have never been opened from 2014 as size 12 4E are not always easy to find. However, now that I have reduced in weight and have kept my Lymphedema in check, I can wear a 12 X-Large shoe, and since Nike didn't have any in stock, I purchased these. WOW!!! The comfort, the fit, the "bouncy" feeling while walking is FANTASTIC!!! I have found a "new" shoe to wear and the Nike shoes will only be used for working outside in the yard. They have become my "if they get ruined who cares" shoes since Skechers are really so much more comfortable. UPDATE: April 20, 2023 - We just completed a 16 day trip through Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. I wore my two pairs of Skechers for the entire trip, over 2,700 miles driven, and over 12 miles of walking / light hiking, and my feet felt WONDERFUL and my legs never felt overly tired. One day, we walked 4 1/2 miles on the Las Vegas Strip, feet felt GREAT! Yes, we were tired, but not because of the shoes, in fact, I don't think I could have made the walk with my Nike's. This leather shoe is attractive and comfortable, but one size smaller might fit better. Also beware these things have better grip than your spikeless golf shoes. So what you say? When you turn they don’t and when you go down a carpeted stairway be damn careful your head doesn’t beat your feet to the bothom! Read more

First off, I am a huge fan and long time purchaser of Sketcher shoes so when I started playing pickleball of course I chose a Sketcher x-trainer/court shoe. I need a wide toe box and also why I love Sketchers they are known for that and having excellent memory foam insoles, but for some unexplainable reason I bought the x-wide shoe and my toes are swimming inside this pair (it's manageable, but I'll be careful next order). I gave it 5 stars because it's my fault for ordering the wrong size not Sketchers. This shoe does feel a little cheaper in material then ones I've had in the past not sure why (?) it's just the impression I got, but not enough to return it. They are light which you want on the court, good grip on the court surface and shipping was quick. My advice, buy true to your size Sketchers are known for having some wiggle room in the toe box so unless you really have too no need to get an x-tra wide. I would recommend these shoes and I remain a big fan of Sketchers. Read more

I have bought countless pairs of skechers men's shoes on Amazon. 12 extra wide. They always fit every type of athletic shoe I have bought. But not these shoes they are they run small and narrow. My big toe was crammed against the front of the shoe and they were not even near wide enough. This is a two-part review as this was the second pair or the second return I should say. The first return, I initiated there was one shoe in the box? I did not try it on since it was only one shoe because I never had a problem with Skechers not fitting. But in retrospect, I wish I would've tried it on because when I got both shoes, they were way too small. Now something is screwy with this return. I've already returned it, but I have not been credited for some reason? I feel sure it will get straightened out as Amazon has always been top-notch. Originally I gave this one star, but I changed it to three because the shoe is not defective and it's probably a good shoe just not the right size and does not compare with other skecher shoes in sizing. I don't wear these a lot, White tennis shoes get dirty so easily. But when I want to wear white tennis shoes I get these out and they a great for walking in and go great with whatever white tennis shoes go with. Read more
