I live in northern Wisconsin and this balaclava is the best. I bought one for myself and it is perfect. Not too tight, very adjustable in terms of how close the covering over your mouth and nose is which is essential and great neck coverage. Its loose enough that a proper ,insulating, air gap forms to keep you warm. My husband saw how well this was working for me so he requested one for himself (this one) and he says its the best as well. BTW, I have a small head and he has quite the large head so it is very accommodating in terms of size. The price is very fair and the shipping was fast. This is very soft and warm. It has been so cold and wendy where I live and this blocks the wind completely. It's not to thick but not thin. It has straps to adjust the fit so it stays in place and it comes in a bunch of different colors to match any style you choose. This is great and I would definitely recommend and would buy again. It's warm. For sure. But the drawstrings are in a weird place. There are 2 drawstrings on either side of the face. And they look RIDICULOUS. For whatever reason, I'm am reminded of the character Dobby from Harry Potter. The drawstrings remind me of his ears and I just feel so silly when I'm wearing this. But. It is warm. So. 3 stars.
