9/20/16 update: I ordered a 2nd pair, size small. They fit fine! The Medium fit loose (they can be pulled off my hips), and the small fit fine. US 6/8 (comfortably). These are so well-made and very functional as well as flattering. Pockets are in perfect placement. I'm glad I ordered a 2nd pair, (same colour) and will order additional pair in other colours. Fast becoming my Go-To pants! Original order: I'm a US size 6/8 and ordered a large based on the sizing chart. Do not do this. They are quite large. They're excellent pants, heavy, love the pockets and design very much. The whole style is perfect. But they fall down off my hips when I'm walking, and that's without anything in my pockets. They may fit if I put weight on, but they are very roomy. I would absolutely order them again, except without putting too much attention on the reviews commenting on the sizing discrepancy. I am guessing based on this fit, I could fit into a medium or maybe even a small. Do not let the reviews scare you and I'd consider ordering your regular size, or maybe a size up (mind you, they are very baggy, not fitted pants). Great quality and super fast shipping. 8/18/16 UPDATE: I exchanged size Large for a size Medium. They fit perfect. I might be able to do size Small but these are loose and comfortable. Seller is amazing to deal with re: return/exchange. Very fast, excellent customer service, very responsive, good communication. These pants are very well made, and have great details. Sturdy construction, plenty of pockets and space, straps and seams, wonderful purchase. They're worth every penny, and I would definitely order again. Love these Skylinewears cargo pants. Went to a show where they would not let us in with anything but a teeny purse...ergo the need for cargo pants. First, these are 100% cotton...Zero spandex!!!!, and a nice cotton, too. Second, they are midrise...really! Most cargo pants are high rise and on me, high rise comes up to my diaphragm which is not flattering or comfortable...These Skylines are a true mid rise. The legs are wide but even though my thighs are relatively skinny, these look nice. The length long for this 5'3" human, but the ties at the knees and ankles make adjustments that work. The pockets are big! I've had no problems with the buckles as others have suggested. Now, I'm off to buy the light blue ones. Search complete...thank you Skylinewears! The sizing recommendations were good for me; I am a size 4 or 27 in pants, and the Small fits just right. Update: just got the light blue; the color is amazing! The fabric and fit are a bit different than the white. The white are light, soft…almost gauzy whereas the light blue are a bit thicker and stiffer…less airy…like a cotton duck. While both are size small, the blue is a little too tight whereas the white was a little loose. The waist, hip, legs, and length run smaller. That is good for my legs and height, but the waist and hip are tight. I think they will give enough with wear. The next size up will be too much. I really like both pairs. Update # 2: Re the blue pants...only one of the four snaps on the leg pockets (2 snaps per pocket) actually snaps closed. I tried every which way snap them...took them off and tried...they will not snap. And the one that I did get snapped (back snap, left pocket) popped open soon after with nothing in pockets. Now I know why they arrived unsnapped. But, not taking any stars off...the material, color, and fit is really good. Read more
They're decent. Pockets are great. I'm normally a size 4 short American Eagle jeans. I ordered a large. A medium may have been a better choice. These low rise pants are baggy in the crotch which is not very attractive. The length is a little long for me. About half way down the legs, there are straps to adjust the length which helped. The material is a medium weight that can be worn fall to spring. I initially bought two pair: black and brick red both with the leg strap. The black were fine but the red one came with issues. Right from the package they stank like a mixture of chemical and basement. Washing them didn't them help. The color was not what I was expecting. It was muted almost orange. The zipper was also wonky. I emailed the seller and they took the return. Read more
BOUGHT THE GREEN PAIR FIRST. LOVED THEM. REALLY SOFT. BOUGHT THE BLACK PAIR SECOND. FRONT POCKET WAS SEWN TO BACK BELT HOOP AND I COULD NOT FIX IT SO I RETURNED THEM. I ORDERED ANOTHER PAIR (3RD) IN GREEN AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED AS WITH THE BLACK BUT I WAS ABLE TO CUT THE FRONT POCKET FROM THE BACK BELT HOOP AND SEW IT SHUT. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND FOR THE BLACK PAIR RETURNED EARLY JULY. WILL NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN. Read more
I've purchased 4 pairs of these cute pants, 2 for me and 2 as gifts. They soft and airy, make your butt look cute and all of what you think from the pictures. PLEASE be sure to look at the sizing chart! These cute pants do run small! Normally I would buy size 14 or 16 depending on the cut, but I bought a size XXL according to the sizing chart and they fit perfectly! Yay me for checking, lol!! Read more
