The slanted nail cutters work well when trimming toe nails, especially thick toenails, and they are SHARP. Be careful not to cut your toes... it does take time to get used to the 30 degree angle these cut at and so go slow at first. They are easier to use once you get used to them than then regular, conventional, old school toe nail cutters. One problem you may run into is the fact that the slant is only one way. So, when trying to trim the other side of the nail, you will have to be careful or use a different position, or see if an opposite 30-degree cutter is available. The value is great and it does work for clipping those hard to clip nails. I was able to get a hang nail and an ingrown but not on both sides. I personally did knick a toe or two... but since I have done that multiple times with multiple things, I feel like this may be a me issue more than the actual tool. Sharp and work well when trimming toenails. Easier to use than conventional toenail cutters, but be careful not to nick your toes. These are slanted as noted and I didn’t realize, this makes them significantly better for trimming the left side of my toenails more so than the right. But they are good enough for both sides.
