As someone who suffers from migraines and allergies, I have always had to use two different compresses for my eyes and head. When the migraines strike, I am needing a cold pack in the dark. But when the sinuses get to me, a hot pack is what works best. This mask does BOTH! The heat is adjustable between two settings. It stays on for 15 minutes, which is usually long enough for me to fall asleep. The cold pack stays cold for about 25 to 30 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature of the room.
