When I ordered I ordered the wrong one. Make sure to review your order before hitting buy. I had a queen size selected then look at options. Decided against options but I didn't notice it defaulted back to twin. My fault. Shipping time was great. Much less than others. When it arrived, it was vacuum sealed and when open, it did have a bit of an smell. But, after being open and laid out for a few hours, the smell dissipated and now on night 2, didn't even notice it. Definitely let the product air out and come to it's full shape before you use it. You'll be surprised how thick it gets when you wait. My son complained that his bed was too hard. I can't afford a new mattress at this time. This topper did the trick. He says he sleeps better and it is comfy. No odor. it does add depth of course. I paid $112 for this Sleep Philosophy memory foam mattress topper in Dec 2017 and its still quite comfortable and effective in August 2019. I had my doubts compared to more expensive brands like those in retail stores that sell bedding. I have felt cooler at night than I did before buying this. More importantly, my hips have not had the pain they did before buying this. The memory foam still seems to return to its shape each time we move around. There was a "new" odor out of the box but it dissipated in 24 hours or so under the ceiling fan. I like this product a lot. Read more

I spent a lot of time searching for a gel memory foam mattress topper. I decided on this one due to the 5 reviews, all of which were 5 stars. I have only slept on this for 5 nights but notice a difference. It is very plush but supportive. I have a large behind so when I sleep on my back a regular mattress there is a gap between my low back and the bed which results in low back pain when I wake up. This has alleviated the low back pain (in addition to core strengthening exercises) upon waking up in the morning. I am also a side sleeper and I can feel the topper conforming to my body. I only sink in a little bit so that the topper hugs my body a little and I definitely don't sink all the way down to the mattress nor feel the mattress underneath. When this arrived on Friday, It took it out, aired it out, opened a window and turned the fan on. The topper did not appear to be vacuum sealed too tightly so it sprung to the 3 inch thickness almost immediately. I really appreciate that. I couldn't wait to try it so I put it on the bed bump/egg crate side up that night after airing it out for approx 6 hours. I haven't been able to use it yet. Had it in the garage overnight, it stunk the garage up so I put it out in the patio for 2 days. It's still way too stinky to use so I brought it back into the garage because it's suppose to freeze tonight. How long before the chemical smell dissipates? This looks and feels exactly like what I was looking for but I would really like to use it now! It's been open and unused for about a week or so now, so we put it on the bed under a thick mattress pad and the smell still wafts from my bed.
