Best dog seat belts I have owned yet. I like that they are able to clip into the hooks at the back of the seats. They dont interfere with the seat belt either. I've been using these seatbelts for both my dogs for the past few months and they work really well. The elastic bungee feature is helpful because it absorbs sudden movements when I brake or turn. The clips are strong and attach securely to their harnesses and the seatbelt buckle. I like that they're adjustable, so I can set the length based on where each dog sits. The only minor downside is that the elastic can stretch quite a bit with a larger, stronger dog, but it hasn't been a real problem. The material feels durable and hasn't shown any wear yet. Very nice to use in the car with our doodles. It can buckle into the seatbelt area or be clipped around a fixed area in the car. In my Jeep I have areas that are built into my car I can clip these to. Work perfectly and feel sturdy to keep the doggos safe! Read more
This is great to keep our little man in the back seat while travelling. One warning though, is that he is a small dog and the first couple of times we used it, his back leg got tangled up in the seatbelt. So, if your pooch starts to whine, make sure he or she isn't tangled and not unhappy by getting relegated to the backseat. The seatbelt itself is good quality and the buckles were surprisingly thick. This actually made it impossible to use the clip portion on the back of the headrest (we have a Tundra truck and Highlander SUV). We thought about trying it that way to prevent him from getting tangled. I would recommend making that clip a bit larger so it can be used on all vehicles. The seatbelt buckle worked well and was firm, so no concerns about it getting loose. Overall, it is easy to use and the dog-side clip fit perfectly with his harness. Read more
