PROS: (No CONS observed.) * Beautiful design and tough Acrylic construction throughout, featuring a stylish gold ring and elegant appearance. * High quality, modern sconce-style “bubble effect” nightlights send light in both upward and downward directions. * Attractive lights measure 5” in height, 2.9” in diameter and 1.9” in width. Their generous size covers both outlet plugs in an electrical fixture. * IMPORTANT: “Eyeball” needs to be pointed at a source of sunlight or the lights will stay on continuously. * The electric current draw is so minuscule that remaining on in a darkened room or hall is not a problem. * To Operate: Turn the light sensitivity knob clockwise to increase the brightness and counter clockwise for a dimmer light. * Please note that the light sensor and the brightness knob are conveniently integrated into one. * Turning or adjusting the knob partially covers the eyeball. This unavoidably but briefly causes uneven flickering of the light. * Flickering of LED dusk to dawn lamps is completely normal and to be expected. * The sensitivity of the unit relies on ambient light (natural light). If there is no natural light near the nightlight, it will not automatically turn on and off at dusk and dawn. * One of my nightlights is plugged in next to my front door which has narrow, clear class panels on both sides, allowing daylight to enter. This nightlight turns on and off with flickering at dusk and dawn as expected. * A second nightlight is plugged into a long and dark hallway bathroom area and stays on constantly due to the lack of natural light. * It’s best to experiment with different brightness settings and find the one you prefer. Set the knob to the brightness you like best for that particular area and leave the light undisturbed. * You may have to adjust the brightness settings according to the seasons of the year. Dimmer in Spring and Summer and brighter in Fall and Winter may be a good choice. * Online information indicates that the light has a motion detector function. I got these to use in my upstairs and downstairs hallways. They feel heavy and very durable, and I really like the design with the clear bubbles. The gold look makes them seem more upscale. I also like that they have a dial to adjust the brightness, which is a nice feature. They are a nice looking decorative light that is also functional as a nightlight, plus they are motion detecting, which is great. Now for the downsides of these, which actually make them unusable in my home. The electrical plugs are not movable, meaning your wall outlets have to be vertical or else they plug in sideways/horizontally, which looks odd, plus the motion detector doesn’t really work when it’s facing up. Second, their shape makes them interfere with the second outlet so you can’t use both outlets at the same time (see second photo). That is inconvenient and not very practical, especially when wall outlets are scarce, as they are in my home. Overall, these are really nice and they aren’t a bad deal for the price. However, if you have horizontal outlet cutlets like I do, they won’t really work as intended, or you will lose your second outlet. I think it would have been fairly easy to make the plug movable, which is a feature I have seen on many other similar items. Also, it would be nice if the listing indicated that the outlet is not moveable so buyers can make an informed decision on whether to buy them. Read more

I bought these because I was tired of those cheap plastic nightlights that feel flimsy and look worse over time. They look great in the entryway. The light is soft and warm, enough to guide you without blasting the space, and they blend in nicely with the rest of the decor instead of standing out as “nightlights.” My only small wish is that they offered a version without the bubble texture in the acrylic. Set of 2 “night” lights made of high-grade acrylic that somewhat justifies the price. No manual or instructions of any kind. I took some time to reread the product page for clarity on the product's functions. I spent additional time trying to figure out how to make the product work as described on the product page. It lacks the functionality advertised. The knob on the side turns the light on and adjusts its brightness. The “sensor” on the side does not “sense” anything, serving no purpose. This night light remains perpetually on unless manually turned off. Its size blocks the entire outlet, requiring its removal if I want to use it. An overall disappointing product. Read more
