I have used home automation for a good while now and can say that these plugs are a good value. They were extremely easy to pair with my SmartThings hub. Their profile leaves room for other devices to be plugged into the outlets (which wasn't always the case in the old days of x11). The on-off button works. So far they haven't failed with any of the automation routines that they are apart of, which are triggered multiple times a day. Read more

Easy to add to smartthings. Work every time, unlike some other zigbee items I have which are constantly getting disconnected from the hub. After over a year of use I only had to add 1 back to the system and probably was my fault for not allowing enough time for rediscovery after moving it far from the hub. Read more

I bought two pack of this smart plug last year. Paired easily with Hubitat and have been working dependably since. One was for various seasonal lights on our front porch, so not being used daily, the other is connected to a salt lamp that runs every day - that one has never had an issue with a year of constant use. The Zigbee plug initially worked great and paired easily with my Zigbee hub. After about 3 years, it still connects to the hub and shows as online, but anything plugged into it gets no power. Resetting and re-pairing didn’t help—disappointing long-term reliability. Read more

Love these plugs. They go into pairing mode right out of the box and were easy to pair with my hub. I also like they are repeaters so having them spaces increases the size of my range. The round design is sleek and you can fit 2 in an outlet. The led lit button on the side tells you if they are on or off. They just work, which is the best part. Read more

I bought these to replace an expensive GE smart plug that I bought 3 years ago and already died. It took me a while to find one that worked with SmartThings, as most smart plugs available now do not work with a hub. Out of the box, the 1st one of the pair set up easily and flawlessly. The 2nd one gave me a challenge, as it didn't want the software to recognize it in the installation process. I walked away for a while, and it worked when I came back. I've been running them for a couple months now, as part of automatic daily routines with lamps, and they've been reliable. For the money, I figure if I only get a year out of them, I'm still way ahead of the game, because they're about 1/6 the price of the same GE unit that I purchased back in 2018. Read more

I own like 10 of these and only use at Christmas for different lights all around my house. 3 of them are dead already in 2 years. They start clicking rapidly and that is when you know they are fried. So I got through two Christmas seasons with them - that's a 30% fail rate. Buy something else no worth the money. Read more
