It connects easily to my phone (Android), and I can answer or make calls right from my wrist, which is super convenient. Its a decent watch if all you want is to see the time. While it does make calls and checks your HR and oxygen levels, this does not operate like say a Google Pixel watch does. It will say you have text but the messages do not appear on the phone at all. This was really a waste of my money. I would rather have a regular basic watch than to bother with a smart watch again. I would rate this 2.5 stars if possible. The step count is off. I have taken steps in real time and watched the steps not increase on the watch. Even after refresh & waiting a few seconds. It’s don’t this multiple times. I tested this watch over weeks before leaving a review to make sure I wasn’t tripping. I wasn’t. This watch consistently under tracks my steps. If you are looking to reach 10K steps a day like me, every step counts. This also doesn’t go a good job at measuring your steps on machines in the gym like the elliptical. This also doesn’t do a great job at monitoring your heart rate. The watch may prompt you to readjust your watch to ( and still not register your heart beat ). Kind of a waste for my specific needs. Good for somebody just looking to throw something in their wrist & get a semi-accurate fitness watch. For those like me who appreciate accuracy & quality I’d recommend a higher end brand/model. First, it looks great. It easy to read in sunlight or dim light. The mesh band with magnetic clasp is the most comfortable watch band I've ever worn. Reasons for buying: easy to read timepiece, tracking steps, monitoring sleep & using as a timer. The 2nd day I wore it, the step counter reached 6,000 by early afternoon but 2 hours later the steps had reverted to 322. The 3rd day I wore it, only 3 hours of sleep were monitored when I had slept for 5 1/2 hours. The next night it tracked no sleep at all though I'd had a restful night. The following evening I enabled DND mode & Low Power Mode. That night the watch did record my sleep correctly. I tried using the strong vibration mode for the timer, but the vibration is so faint it's hard to even feel so I can't rely on it to alert me.
