SmartBones Mini Chews With Real Peanut Butter 24 Count Rawhide-Free Chews For Dogs Packaging May Vary

Hi Everyone, it has been awhile since I did any reviews. I love doing them and sharing my experiences, but as you all know, life sometimes just gets in the way. With this review, I am starting up again and will do reviews on items I have used over the past couple of years that have withstood the test of time, or NOT, so please "follow" me and enjoy! To share some background, I have been a pet care provider since 1999. The benchmark of my care is to collaborate with pet parents and create a plan for food, treats, exercise, etc, all of which is built around their fur babies age, health and Vet approval. Many of my pet parents use this product. To new pet parents, this product is one I recommend to give a try. There are different sizes and flavors to choose from and, along with a "bone-shaped" SmartBone, they even have a "stick version". My son spends a fortune on giving his dog, Brooklyn, the very best nutrition-rich, quality foods and treats, all of which Brooklyn loves. Brooklyn, is a Superfan of this product. He loves them. He likes the dog bone shape in Chicken and Peanut Butter Flavors. When he is with me, we do a lot of walking. He loves putting in his miles. So it is normal for Brooklyn to have a two to three of these Smarbones a day. This is NOT junk food, but a healthy option and he has never had a reaction of any kind. Now it goes without saying that food allergies such as Chicken, Peanut Butter etc. play a role in any food or treat choice you make. And even if your fur baby has no known allergies, always check with your Vet for her/his opinion. If it turns out that your fur baby is able to eat these Smartbones and you give then a try and your fur baby loves them as much as Brooklyn does. Read more

My dogs love these treats. Well, I make that assumption since they cannot speak and simply because when I break one of these little bundles of goodness out they all behave like a bunch of vultures over a carcass or like I’ve been starving them for days and then scarf it down like it is a cheese slice. Not sure how one can enjoy something that is consumed in 0.5 seconds, but they do. These treats aren’t normally inexpensive, so I often buy them just when they’re on sale, which they were post-Thanksgiving. So needless to say, we stocked up! While I don’t smell them, I do appreciate the fact that they don’t smell like a wet pig’s foot when I open the package. The peanut butter ones definitely smell like peanut butter though. Recently, we made the shift to the majority of the treats served come from the Dreambones or Smartbones line because of the quality of the product, plus it helps avoid that “cheap treat” response where it comes back out (one end or the other) at lightning speed. 10/10 from the dogs…picture for cuteness factor :) Read more

My dogs absolutely loves these smartbones mini chews!!! It gets them excited when I give them one. I love that they are rawhidefree and easy to digest so I dont have to worry about any tummy troubles. They come in a peanut butter flavor as well which is a big hit with them as they practically inhale them!!! They help with his dental health which is a nice bonus. Just as good as ones you get to Walmart but cheaper. They are alittle smaller in size ,I guess thats why you get few more in a bag then the onther brand. My dogs live them. Read more
