Thanks for the extra screen, I guess, but…. I followed the instructions to a T. I cleaned off the screen, placed my phone face down in the box, pulled the tab (a second tab with an orange arrow followed the first tab when I pulled it out of the slot) and, waited 5 seconds, removed my phone from the box only to find nothing attached to the screen, but in the box, there were two screens underneath it, one offset, and the aforementioned second pull tab. I put my phone back in the box, repeated, only to remove my phone and find one screen perfectly aligned with another privacy screen below it attached to my phone's screen, but offset by about 1 inch from the top. I'll return it in hopes I got a dud, and I may update my review if it works out. Update: This thing is amazing. After a little research, I read that, if you ordered a pack with more than one screen, the extra screen(s) need to be removed before installation. When the first one came, I had forgotten or didn't realize I had ordered a two pack and ended up making a mess by sticking both to my phone. Once I realized that one must remove the extra screen(s) from the installation box (there should be only one screen in the box when installing it - as others have noted, the instructions did not mention that and both screens were set up in it when I made my first try), and installed it on my phone, it removed 99% of the stress of installing a screen protector. No dust, no bubbles (well, there were two near the edges that took some working on to remove, but they were gone within 12 hours and haven't returned) and it lined up perfectly. I very highly recommend this, but just use caution as noted above. This thing works so well that I won't even dock it a whole star for the instructions to remove extra screens, I only advise others to pay attention to how many screens are in the installation box. The screen protector itself works really well—clear, smooth, and it feels sturdy. My only complaint is that the installation was a bit tricky at first. It took me a minute to figure out how to line everything up correctly. But once it was on, it looked perfect and has held up great. Overall, definitely worth it! Read more

The smart box they use to center the phone so the screen protector is applied properly centered didn’t work. When I pulled the tab it already appeared to be sticking out far. The clear film was almost completely out, but the glass started slipping out the bottom too. I was pressing down on the lid but the glass was coming out with the film. I got the film off, pushed the glass back up through the slot and kept pressing down on the lid but it wasn’t centered. In lifting and moving it, something got under the glass so I had to pry it up a bit to clean it in three places but it didn’t adhere well. I started over with the second one. The second one the glass stayed in the box properly but I had to push bubbles out and pry up a bit due to some bubbles would resurface when you let go. I don’t know if when there’s only one glass in there you have to hold it down harder and longer but it didn’t get the bubbles out. My son noticed when we put it in the case it wasn’t centered left to right. We took the case off pried it up, nudged it over a touch and started over with the bubbles. It was straight but the transparency didn’t look clean when looking at it straight on. I suspect someone had applied it previously, decided to send it back and reboxed it incorrectly. The tab shouldn’t have stuck that far out of the box before we started, the glass shouldn’t have started peeking out, the second one, the adhesive should have been stronger and cleaner and the top of the box looked like it had tape tears in two locations. If it had been one I would have guessed the packing machine applying the film or boxing may have needed an adjustment. Read more
