I can already tell you this new 17 pro max case is worth your purchase! It is the same quality if not better than before. I won’t buy another brands case. I might just a buy a few of these in more prints! The edges are perfect to protect the new screen design of the 17. It also has the raised rim for the camera and sensor area. The transparent design nicely showcases the color of the phone. It fits perfectly and is easy to hold. The camera button and other buttons are easy to use. I cannot recommend this case enough. The case for my 13 pro max tells you everything you need to know. The galaxy print gripzilla case is 4 years old. It’s the original case I bought for the 13 and I never had to replace it or my phone. Even have the original screen protector. I have very poor coordination and am horribly accident prone. Trust me that phone has met the ground many times from various heights and situations. Several times I thought it was for sure the end and it dusted right off. Case didn’t even show wear until the last year or so where the MagSafe ring is. As always, Smartish cases are the best for me. Love the feel of the Gripzilla and the protection it affords. The quality is amazing on these cases. The camera control in this year's model is really nice. They just made the case even better in my opinion. A couple of wishes: Dark Blue case to match the new color of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Additionally, I would like to cover the camera plateau, as in some other cases, for maximum protection. With that said, this is a fantastic case, offering good value and featuring strong magnets. I had a Gripzilla on my iPhone 14 Pro for a couple years and loved it. Of all the many cases I've had over the years Smartish makes the best in my opinion. Extremely tough and totally grippy. I've had multiple incidents of quickly pulling my phone from my pocket where the finger grooves saved me from dropping it while any other case would have slipped out of my hand. The finger grooves on the Gripzilla are the best part of the case, which brings me to the worst part of the 17 Pro case. There are no finger grooves on the right side over the camera control button. Technically the area is recessed so it's sort of a grip area, but unlike the left side where three fingers will get a solid purchase, the other side does not provide this. I feel like Smartish could have added a smalish finger groove below the camera control button to provide the full namesake, but as it is it probably should be called the Halfzilla or Gripside or something. I can't knock it for this since it's still grippy as hell and very protective. My beef is more with the camera button which requires cases to be much less protective on that side and for that matter five freaking buttons to accidentally activate when picking up the phone. I just received this case and I have to say I love it already! I have never heard of this brand before but I was looking for a case for my iPhone 17 pro and this case popped up for me. It has good grip on the edges. They are not too aggressive but not super slippery. It also does not have any sharp edges on it from the moulding process. It’s a little bulky but I feel that it’s a worthy trade off if it protects my phone. Putting it in and out of your pocket there are no issues. It doesn’t grab your inner pocket and pull it inside out like some cases can. I like the thought they put into the areas on the edge where your fingers rest. It has a more natural feel and your fingers wrap around it making it more comfortable to hold. For the price it doesn’t feel cheap and it has a lifetime warranty on it so that’s a plus! To me it’s a big win with this case and I would recommend it to anyone looking into this case. Read more

Returning: reason: MagSafe is not strong enough for my use in the car with a MagSafe phone holder. I am comparing it the Mbot which has excellent magnetic properties. What I love about this case is its thinness to durability ratio. It checks both of those boxes. Its has great grippiness and won’t slide when you put it down. The case is hard and feels well made. The texture of the case is great however, my personal preference is for something a tiny bit softer of a feel. The camera button is super responsive. Overall, it really is a great product and worth the money. Unfortunately for me, if the magnet was better , it would have received 5 stars. Ok, this is a really quality case. I was expecting it to be nice and have a cool design but it exceeded my expectations. The fit, feel, tactile feel, and surprisingly well-placed grooves for grip make this one of the very best cases out there. I normally would have bought a case from Nomad or d brand, but this one meets their quality, exceeds most of their designs, and is notably less expensive. Definitely give this low key gem a try. This iPhone case is sturdy, and fit's the 17 Pro perfectly. If you need MagSafe and a rugged case, then you couldn't go wrong with this one. I'm always a bit leery of clear backs on a case, but this one looks as though it will last well. A somewhat refined GripMonster that fits the 17. It’s the only case I considered because of the build and protection quality…AND and built in camera control button that the version for the 16 that did not have. Works perfectly! Feels good in the hand. And if you would like to personalize the back plate where the MagSafe magnets are hidden, you can go to their site and upload an image of your choice or select one of the ones they have available. Fits and holds the phone perfectly. All cutouts are spot on. Button feel is good too. Great case if you like protection over flashy cases that offer nothing but flair. Read more
