I already had teeth molds so I was looking for something I could use at home with the molds I already had. Well, this seeped onto my gums and made them bright white! I thought I had burnt them as it did give a scary burning sensation. I took it off after about 2 minutes and washed it off but it took about 15 minutes for my gums to go pink again. They weren't burnt but it was still scary. After that, I applied it with a q-tip and left it on for about 5 minutes. I did notice a little whitening so it does work but it's very strong. Dangerous! I used it as indicated, 100% sure I did it right. Well the first time, to give a try, I let it stay for no more than 3 mins. and right away my teeth started to feel pain and quite of a pain. This was at 8am, the pain last for about two hours, but, and this is even worse, at about 2pm a 'weird' new headache started. I'm one on those lucky person who does not suffer from headache, so I was quite surprise. Anyhow I was not sure why so I did not blame this product to be the reason. Skip a day, try again, same results: pain in the teeth and real weird headache in the afternoon. One more final, try two days later and again same story. This thing somehow goes into your brain and good luck with quite bad afternoon headache. So i quit of course. I originally purchased the Shine Whitening Zero Peroxide kit, which worked fantastically and I noticed significant results within a week. I needed to reorder just the syringes, but they don't seem to sell the Zero Peroxide syringes separately. I purchased this product and really regret it. I used it once and experienced shooting pain in all my teeth. DO NOT ORDER IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE TEETH!!!! Now I have to order the Zero Peroxide kit each time I need syringe refills, which is inconvenient, but the results are worth it. Read more

I have sensitive teeth and when I previously used Crest Whitestrips, I had considerable pain even after using them just once. The kit was very easy to use- the instructions were very clear and the pictures helped to clear up any confusion. The mouth guards fit extremely well after I followed instructions to mold them with boiling water. I put a small amount of whitening gel in each of the guards and waited for 15 mins. as directed. I saw results in just two days. You only need a bit of whitening gel for each use, so I'm pretty sure I can use the kit another 4-5 times. Read more

The product seems to have done some good. Though my teeth does get a little sensitive so I have to wait a couple of days between use. It has gotten a couple of shades whiter and I have not even used a full syringe yet. (I apply with a swab so I don't get it onto my gum.) Read more

I give this only 3 stars because after buying multiple times and loving it, my recent purchase had one of the syringes open and leaking and not even 1/4 of the product still in the syringe and useable. This was a major bummer. Got one use out of it. The previous times this product was great. Read more

I was somewhat wary of trying this product, and after 2 applications my teeth were noticeably whiter. I am pleased with the results and plan to periodically use this product to maintain the whiteness of my teeth. I have teeth molds from my dentist so sensitivity to this product was not an issue. I've been using whitening products for a while and am very careful about not getting the gel on my gums. I accidentally got a very small bit of this on my gums, after I placed the trays in my mouth and the burning was like nothing I'd ever felt before. I quickly removed the trays and rinsed the gel from my mouth. the pain to my gum lasted for several days. I'm afraid this product is not for me. Other reviewers seem to have had better luck with it.
