I have used plenty of floss picks over the years -- some great and some just so so. This floss pick is one of the better ones. One of my pet peeves with floss picks is that the pick end is either too thick which makes it inefficient to dig between narrow teeth gaps or too thin which makes it weak and ineffective in picking out lodged food items. With this floss the pick end rests comfortably between too thick and too thin. The floss part is reasonably strong but not quite the best. The mint is a nice feature to have although personally it's a take it or leave it for me. Overall this floss pick is on the better end of the spectrum and not a bad choice to make if you are in the market for floss picks. Read more
For what I need this for, it's a 5-star. The floss material is strong. I have some tight teeth, and this withstood the closeness, yet still retained it's strength (w/only some minor stretching. I try to floss regularly, but it's sometimes impossible. These make it easy to carry on the go. Good price point. Happy w/these! Read more
I've always used regular string floss or dental tape, so this was my first time using the pick style. They're very convenient for the car, purse, office, locker, etc. and come in a reusable plastic case. They have sturdy plastic handles that don't bend or break when in use. The floss is well-secured to the handles and is reasonably taut. I think these are best for the front teeth, but not as good for the back teeth. It's too difficult to get the floss in between my back teeth, so I must use regular floss for those. I consider these best for on the go, after meal cleaning of the teeth that show, but regular floss does a more thorough job. I'm also not crazy about the excess plastic use with the picks. It would be nice if they could find a biodegradable material for the picks. I like that they provide cleaning in a quick, inconspicuous way that can't be done with normal string floss. Read more
