I purchased 4 of the dark colors (brown, cranberry, black, royal blue) and they were true to color. In order to achieve the same fit as the model, I sized up by 2. I usually wear between a small and a medium, I purchased the XL and the fit is perfect. This provided a little extra length. I am 5'2" and the sweater landed just below my butt. September 2023- I just got this sweater but so far I really like it. It is heavier than I expected but definitely not a heavy winter-ony sweater. It is very soft and stretchy- fits very well. I got a medium and am 5'8" and 155 pounds. I like this item enough to put the same in another color in my 'wish' list. The amount of time I've searched for this item - just a plain black crew neck button-up sweater, WITH POCKETS - is beyond asinine. Then I find this one & even tho I was *massively* skeptical due to the price, I honestly figured given the sparseness of options I'd give it a go. MY DUDES. This sweater...is RIDICULOUS. The knit is thick & boingy & comfy & just unBELIEVABLE quality. I've had it a month or so & have literally worn it nearly every day (my office is confused & thinks it's Antarctica) & have washed it a few times. Not a single FUZZ, much less a pill or anything. (Follow the wash instructions, always!) While I realize this level of quality *shouldn't* necessarily illicit such an astonished reaction, given the state of the clothing industry these days having *ANY* garment with this much use that's not already looking strugglin', nearing the end of its usefulness frankly IS astonishing. If you need a practical, utilitarian yet also comfy & cosy sweater, I'd almost bet paper money you WILL not find a better option at this price. Buy one, heck, buy 20! Read more
