This game lacks options menu to adjust sound of music, sound effects etc… it’s very annoying soundtrack and to not be able to listen to Apple Music or Spotify makes this game very weak and dull behind any other game out there. These creators are very sad at their job and will boycott any games “maximum games” creates. That isn’t “maximum”. That is bare minimum pos. Read more
Very basic kart racer in terms of game mechanics. No real new feature to make it stand out from the gold standard, Mario Kart 8. At least with other racers like Sonic Team Racing, Dreamworks All Star Kart Racing, Nickelodeon all star racing, etc they try to add additional game mechanics to stand out from others. In fact this game has even less features Smurfs kart racing is very generic: boost start, drift/ramp boost, and two item/powerups holds Boost start is on a meter, where you must keep in the green Drifting is required to win races Ramp boost have a slim window to activate Powerups are for the most part clones of Mario Kart with different design. Not able to hold items behind you for defense. They are only effective if you have line of sight with the enemy. If you put a spike ball (banana equivalent in mario kart) in a strategic position, enemies won’t hit it unless you see them right behind you. Best to put them out of the way since you can hit it yourself when you loop around for the next lap. Karts feel very floaty and don’t get much sense of speed No kart customization. Each smurf has their own most common power up. So best to choose the smurf that best fits your playstyle or one with the rocket boost since it’s the most powerful Only 2 difficulty options (fun and hyper) with mirror mode unlocking once you complete 3 cups AI is unforgiving even in fun mode if you don’t utilize shortcuts, and constantly drifting. When hit by a power up there’s a quick recovery. When you bump into a wall or obstacle you slow down to a crawl and the acceleration takes a while to get to max speed. No online multiplayer. There are in-game achievements to give you stickers, and time trials for replayability Unless you or your kids really like the smurf franchise, there are better kart racers out there to play Read more
