For a budget title, and physical at that, you can't beat this Mario 3D Land-esque title with the whimsical Smurf coat of paint. It's a fun platformer for those who want a simpler game for once, with collectables in each level. This is a smurftastic choice for needing a lighter game inbetween your Elden Rings and Darksouls. It appears to follow the super Mario template of platforming, except with many puzzles. Graphically it is vibrant and clean, with a dreamy and whimsical touch to the backgrounds as the title implies. There are a few instances where it is better for one co-op partner to sit it out in a floating bubble as the other gets through some tricky obstacles, and wait until it is safe to respawn, but not enough to hamper the experience majorly. The puzzles seem to be a bit excessive but I enjoyed the experience in local co-op. Read more
