I have this little cuby hole in my dashboard that is a perfect fit for chap stick. The problem is every time you turn a corner the chap stick flies out and rolls under the seat. This holder stops it from rolling no matter how sharp I take the turn. It's working great. Bought as a gift for a huge ChapStick addict who also tends to misplace their addiction. Seemed the perfect, stylish solution. Clipped to a belt loop or purse (never on key chains), it got many compliments. Unfortunately, it just didn't stand up to regular use for very long (it's been in actual use less than a year despite the purchase date). The neoprene separates from the rubber backing, especially around the eyelet. We glued this at one point, but it just didn't last. The flap of material past the snap buttons curls, and the edges of the neoprene fray in all places. The spring in the carabiner also failed. And perhaps worst of all: The trademark feature and "look" of this product--the snap buttons--while stylish, are rather impractical and fussy. They are fairly difficult to snap and unsnap, they stretch and stress the material when opening and closing, and add a lot of bulk and weight. They also restrict sizing to a pretty fixed circumference, mitigated only by the limited stretch of the material (which might not even be possible with the leather variety). Velcro, while perhaps less attractive, would serve better in all these regards. Lastly, almost $10 each with shipping is rather steep, especially when durability is low. Makes it easy to find my chapstick. And I can wear little flat purses that carry only a wallet and phone because I don't need to make room for my chapstick in there as its conveniently located on my keyring where I can always find it. A simple and cute little addition to my keys. Read more

Love this! It took me a bit to get the buttons to snap with my Carmen lip balm but once I got it, it has been great. I clip it on my lanyard for work so I always have it handy. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I ordered the black with white polka dots but it looks more blue with white polka dots. Read more

I like that I have kept up with my chap-stick, but my clip was falling apart. It stayed open all the time. I couldn't get it to close. After having problems with my first clip, they sent me several more free of charge. I haven't had anymore problems and I still haven't lost my chap-stick!
