Almost 5’7 200pounds 38 waist 50 hips I have the xl and large. Xl is comfortable enough for me to wear all day around the house or running errands on the second hook with bearable compression. I wear the large when I want more compression. The large is no joke tho so I only wear it when I’m sure I’ll be standing up like when I'm cleaning the house or cooking. According to their size chart I’m supposed to be in the large because my waist is a 38. The large has very high compression so that’s why I wear it when I know I’ll be standing or I’ll be ready to take it off. So if your body measurements are similar get the large for high compression or the xl for all day wear comfortable compression. Some ppl say the lace is too big I just cut against the seam that’s on the side of the lace (the thick part don’t cut the seam tho) take an inch square off and sew the seam back close. Everybody don’t have Madea knees🥴 I wear mine 5-8 hours a day and take it off to sleep. I’ll give myself about 1.5-2 months to be in the large comfortably. I’m unhappy with my purchase. I just recently received the order. Took it out the pkg. it had a highly perfume scent. My husband expected because I have serious allergies to fragrance. He noticed that the crotch stitch was torn where the zipper is placed. With no label or tag on the garment . It was rolled balled up in the pkg. I was looking forward to my item. This is a very good faja and made really well however there’s some flaws that bothered me when I wear it long term. The lower part is not comfortable and the length of the abdominal area is too long which makes it uncomfortable at the waist area. I like the support area at the shoulders and the big stretchy fabric ate the buttocks area . Over all , very good faja compared to the other ones. Please ignore the sizing chart as it’s inaccurate.
